Supergirl- Heh, I think people who didn't realize the eps were switched would be slightly confused. But I guess they publicized it enough that most viewers would know. And I guess the casual enough viewers who wouldn't know are also the type who don't watch enough to be confused. ( spoiler cut )

Into the Badlands- I thought this show was kinda cool with the brutal martial arts action and stuff. But weird, like I recognized Aurora from OUAT, but I totally did not realize the doctor lady was Astrid from the Tomorrow People. She seems really different here. Maybe because she's playing older and in a post-apocalyptic society?
Supergirl- Hmm, we learn some interesting tidbits. ( spoiler cut )
Gotham- Hey, its Missy from Doctor Who as the head of an assassin's guild! And of all the characters they'd bring to Gotham, I was not expecting Flamingo. I figured he'd be too brutal and out there even for this show. ( spoiler cut )

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend- Hey, I think its a pretty cute show- funny and charming. (I did not realize the main actress in this was the girl who did the "Eff me, Ray Bradbury" song) And you know how I'm a sucker for musical numbers- as I posted previously, I had entirely no interest in this show until I found out it was a musical show.
But yeah, even though the critics like it, I'm not sure it will do well. I mean, not everyone is a fan of musicals. Plus, even before the show came out, it sounds like a lot of people were up in arms over the name- some people felt the title, "crazy ex-girlfriend" perpetuates the stereotype of crazy ex-girlfriends. Others were all offended because they feel the name makes light of mental health issues.

SVU- Weird! So the youngest sister was Andrea's sister on the Walking Dead?! I guess she looks totally different when dolled up as a 70s whore. Though I guess I started recognizing her when she wasn't all 70s-upped. (Heh, I also totally did not notice until late in the ep that the judge was Janice Soprano)

Apr. 17th, 2014 10:25 amHmm, that new "Faking It" TV show looks interesting enough. A pair of cuties fake being in a lesbian relationship for popularity or something. Only one of them isn't faking it, and figures out she is an actual lesbian and is in love with her best friend. But I'm guessing this is a doomed ship and the other girl does not figure she too is a lesbian and they end up together for real. So its like, why bother if its prolly just going to be all sad, ship-wise.
TV commentary:
Fargo- Pretty interesting show, surprisingly more violent than I expected. Well, I guess the movie had someone being thrown into a wood chipper, so I suppose it shouldn't have been that surprising. Also weird, I guess its not a re-hash of the movie? I mean, it takes place in 2006, and none of the characters are the same. Is it just the feel of the movie (or book, I guess) they're trying to capture? ( spoiler cut )
