TV commentary:
Supergirl- Heh, I think people who didn't realize the eps were switched would be slightly confused. But I guess they publicized it enough that most viewers would know. And I guess the casual enough viewers who wouldn't know are also the type who don't watch enough to be confused. Its kinda funny, because the Thanksgiving ep made the Danvers girls realize they couldn't trust Hank. But at that point all he's done from the audience's viewpoint is have glow-y red eyes. This ep, we see he's definitely powered. I wonder if they hadn't switched the eps, if the audience would feel more vindicated the sisters are suspicious of Henshaw because he would have been even more mysterious at the time.
Heh, he has Cyborg Superman's comic name, but he might not be Cyborg Superman. I am amused some people who don't know Hank Henshaw are thinking he's Martian Manhunter. I guess because he's a black guy, like in Smallville and some of the DC cartoons?
But heh, we also know why Jimmy and Lucy were back together and vacationing over Thanksgiving. And interesting, Maxwell Lord did a series of attacks to try and test Kara, but I guess since everyone was too good at investigating, they found who the "bomber" was, and with his reputation ruined, he decided to off himself?
Gotham- I'll admit, that one thing amused me. Bruce getting himself and Silver fake kidnapped. Pretty clever, pretending it was corrupt people form Wayne Enterprises upset that Bruce might sell to Galavan. And I totally just realized as I typed this the reference they were making with "M Malone". I'm slow.
Also, its funny that after getting back from the fake kidnapping Bruce is about to be kidnapped for real.
Fargo- Craziness abounds! So I guess Colonel Tigh ended up dying in that attack? The timeline was a little confusing because I think at one point Simone talked about them shooting up the place happening "last night", when it couldn't have. I mean, Bear would have to get back and then go with that one guy to shoot up those Kansas City people. And they wouldn't have the funerals for Rye and Otis that very morning.
But Bear may have executed Simone since he found her at Mike Milligan's hotel. Where Lou and that other cop had just saved her from being murdered to send a message to her family. I say might have been executed, because they shot it all fancily and zoomed out before we saw her get killed. I mean, it would be cheap if Bear was just all, "nevermind!" and let her go after all that, but TV nowadays, unless you actually see a body, I'm skeptical.
Mike's bosses send some guy named "The Undertaker" after him, but Mike and the Kitchen Brother kill that guy and his for some reason, Asian henchmen. KC may be kinda racist, the way they were talking about Mike and how they gave him a chance even though he was black, but they at least seem to be hiring more than just white dudes.
And what the hell, the Blomquists apparently have Dodd hostage, ready to trade him for something.
Castle- Heh, that's still weird. That an intelligent Siri-pyramid thingie voice by Aubrey Plaza is a thing in the Castle universe. But then again, I guess it also has time travel and invisibility suits and ninja clans. But finally, Rick and Kate come clean to each other, because this shit has been ridiculous.
As I've said before, I've always found the whole "pushing loved ones away to protect them" in stories total BS. Like Loksat was going to be all, "Oh, I guess they're divorced, so I won't go after Castle now!" They prolly still would, just to be sure. Like they still wouldn't try to use him as leverage?! I mean, if they were all, "Stop, or we'll kill your ex-husband!" even if they were really broken up, she's not the kinda person who would be all, "Go ahead, kill him!"
I think Castle has a point too- she could have come to him with all this in the beginning, and they could've still pretended to be separated in public. And she wouldn't have had to worry about Castle stepping in her shit and possibly blunder up her investigation! Its also kinda ridiculous Martha was all, "You've got to trust her!" There's trust, and there's something so off the wall like breaking up with him suddenly and for no good reason that he can't help but wonder what the hell happened!
Also, I think Vikram is totally trying to break Castle and Beckett up. I mean, sending that false lead while she was at her anniversary with Castle? He did that on purpose!
