NCIS- Ah, as I expected, they did totally replace Abby with Ducky's assistant. Not that it wasn't obvious they were setting that up the first ep she showed up. Though I suppose had I not known Abby was leaving as far as back then, I wouldn't have thought anything of it. But since I did know Abby was leaving, the setup became really clear!

So still randomly sweeping up shows to fill the holes in TV calendar and the TV show favs app. I had finished up Gravity Falls, and have been alternating between eps of Criminal Minds, Bones, and NCIS.

So watching this third season ep of NCIS right now, Tony noses around Mcgee's ipod and sees pics of Sarah (played by Mcgee's real life sister, and Pretty Little Liar, Troian Bellasario). Ziva and Tony wonder who she is, and I know for a fact they don't find out who she is until season four.

Anyways, I was surprised he was referenced that early, so I decided to look up if there were any previous eps they mention her. And she actually appeared way back in season 2, in an episode I'd seen! Which looking it up, I totally remember now, but I think I just didn't know who she was at the time, else I would've been, weird, what's Spencer Hastings doing in this? But I do remember a cute brunette clad in a MIT t-shirt at Mcgee's for a scene, and I believe wondering at the time, that's random, who is she? Because they didn't address it in that ep, or apparently two seasons!

Which that just seems like a weird slow play- here's Mcgee's sister in season 2! Here's a pic of her on his ipod season 3! And its only season 4 that they reveal who she is? I mean, she is the creator's daughter and one of the principal actor's sister, so they always have access to her. But it still feels kinda random to slowly reveal this piece of Mcgee's background over three seasons.

NCIS:LA- Seriously, show? Its not emotional drama, its just gross. And prosaic. I mean, I think the amount of times they did this has dipped into the double digits. I don't know why the show thinks it needed to do this, but it was unnecessary. ( spoiler cut )

So, did my taxes, and used some of that refund to get a new tv in my room so I could move the ps3 up there to make room for the ps4 in the living room. Anyways, warriors orochi 3 ultimate was the only ps3 game I could transfer over to the ps4, got the ps4 version and ported the save over. However, I wanted something else to play between now and when Mass Effect Andromeda.

Settled on Sniper Elite 4, because sniping, and you could set up some cool ambushes. Only got to try the range so far, but I like the system. You have a button to hold your breath to steady your shots for a short while, and the scope has settings for zoom and range compensation. On the harder levels you have to account for drop and windage, so its neat that the system is so in-depth.

Of course, I also soon learned that there was a "critic's choice" sale going for Plus members. The selection was 50% off. I was already thinking of Mortal Kombat XL and Street Fighter V even before the sail, so it just made sense to pick it up now while it was on sale. Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 year celebration was also on the list of discounted games, so I picked that up too.
