So, here's an arbitrary ranking of all the Saturday morning TNBC shows. They only actually rank five of them, relegating the rest to not even good enough to be ranked, which is fair because I vaguely remember some of those shows, and never heard of a few.

The only TNBC shows they (correctly) deem worth mentioning are ranked as such:

5) Saved by the Bell: The New Class
4) City Guys
3) California Dreams
2) Hang Time
1) Saved by the Bell

I mean, obviously "Saved by the Bell" has to be #1, it was the heart of the TNBC Saturday morning lineup. There wouldn't even be a TNBC without them. I dunno about ranking New Class last. Like if it were me, I'd rank it over City Guys, because it at least had a bunch of hotties. I don't even remember any girls being in City Guys. A google search shows there were, but given I can't remember a thing about thing, whereas I can remember most of the girls on the other shows, they don't count.

Actually looking more into it, I seem to remember a girl on it being named Cassidy Guliani. Wait, was she supposed to be like the Mayor's daughter or something? Because its not like Guliani is a common last name. Like, the show takes place in NYC, during the time Guliani was mayor, and she just coincidentally share his last name? I mean, its a TV show, so why would you intentionally have your character share the surname of the current mayor at the time if they weren't related?! Maybe they were, but I'm not seeing anything on a cursory google search so far.

I would also rank California Dreams over Hang Time. It may be because I like music more than sports. Whatever, the theme song was awesome. Better than the themes of the rest of the shows on this list. Also, I did not realize Julie was supposed to be the main star of Hang Time. I mean, these shows are all ensemble casts really, but its cool that one of them is ostensibly considered to have a girl as the central character.

Heh, so I posted about the Bridges thing on Facebook, and M posted this article about 24 Hollywood Celebrities You Didn't Know Were Related. Which, did they heavily pad that list to reach freaking 24? I mean, okay, Rip Torn and Sissy Spacek being cousins, I wouldn't have known that. But they list the freaking Baldwins, the Sheen/Estevezes, Luke and Owen Wilson, James and Dave Franco, and John and Joan Cusack.

I know, I shouldn't be one to talk after missing the Lloyd Bridges but c'mon, the Baldwins and Sheen/Estevezes are Hollywood legacies. Luke and Owen freaking play brothers in half their movies! Joan doesn't necessarily play John's sister, but she's in a lot of his movies too. And lets face it, like Dave would be famous without James Franco.

Like not knowing Zoey Deutch is Lea Thompson's daughter, that's fine. Because firstly, most people would be "who?" and they don't share the same last name. (I only know of her because I just happen to know about young Hollywood starlets, because I'm prolly some kinda weirdo perv) But Elizabeth Olsen practically looks like the thrid Olsen twin, so who doesn't realize they're related?!

But yeah, so I saw an OTND article about Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble. I just think of him as that guy who looks like Khal Drogo/Ronan Dex. But his real name is Joe Anoa'i. Who apparently played football for Georgia Tech. Yes, I haven't watched WWE in a long time, nor do I follow college football. But you'd think I would've come across this tidbit at some point. Also, in learning that the Rock was his cousin, I didn't realize they were both related to Yokozuna and Rikishi Fatu.

Heh, had this amusing dream where I met Karen Gillan at a bar, and we hit it off, and she took me back to her place. Just to talk! But in the dream she was married to Jason Bateman, who caught us and thought we were having an affair. So he like dumps her and she's all sad and needs comforting, but alas, then I wake up.

But speaking of Karen Gillan, with it being a new year, I guess I should do a list of my top 10 (its too much effort to come up with more than 10) favorite babes of 2014. I say favorite, because there's too many expectations from saying "hottest", because then people are all, how could you rank x over y and all that jazz. At least by saying favorite, I'm indicating the list it totally subjective.

1) Barbara Palvin: still my favorite current supermodel. Pretty face, gorgeous lips, banging body (she is a Victoria's Secret model, after all), and you know how I like that brown hair/blue eyes combo.

2) Karen Gillan: Glad to see she still had a somewhat busy schedule post-Doctor Who. And looking totally hot in all the projects I'd seen her in in 2014. She was great in A Touch of Cloth, and of course Selfie. Still the most disappointing cancellation of this season. I'll miss her as Eliza Dooley strutting around in all those cute outfits looking all hott. Heh, even as a bald, blue alien cyborg in Guardians of the Galaxy, she was still smoking.

3) Nina Dobrev: My favorite Canadian vampire. A perfect combination of sexy and cute.

4) Alexandra Daddario- Who cares if her eyes are like, really, really blue that they're almost alien? As I said above, dark hair/blue eyes is my favorite. Plus, that one scene in True Detective is friggin awesome.

5) Evangeline Lilly: My favorite Canadian elf. She is like ridiculously pretty as Tauriel in the Hobbit movies. Too bad they made her character less kick-ass in the last movie.

6) Shay Mitchell: My favorite Candian Lesbian and Liar. Pretty and fit and you know how being part Flip always makes a girl slightly hotter in my book.

7) Shelley Hennig: From witch to were-coyote, she was a great addition to the already gorgeous ladies of Teen Wolf. I mean, it was sad to see Crystal Reed go, but they replaced her with not one, but two hotties in Shelley and Arden Cho.

8) Amy Acker: The girl who shares my exact birthdate, she's awesome on PoI. I mean, its always great when Amy plays the bad girl. Like she looks so sweet and innocent, and it works when she plays adorkable nerds like Fred, but somehow she becomes 1000x sexier when she's not playing the good girl role. But yeah, Root is bad ass, and is one half of one of my favorite OTPs.

9) Sarah Shahi: The other half of the aforementioned OTP. Shaw is a bad-ass in her own right, and I love her tough girl attitude. Shoot (or Raw, if you prefer) make quite the ass-kicking pair on PoI.

10) Anna Kendrick: Again, the brown hair/blue eyes thing. And, her being weird and dorky in real life amplifies her cuteness. Plus, she can sing, which is always a plus! Ah can't wait for Pitch Perfect 2.

So, I was mentioning to K how I liked A to Z alright, but it wasn't in my top 10, or even 20, that had me thinking how many TV shows I watch this new season, currently. Let's count it out:

1) Doctor Who

Sunday:
2) Avengers Assemble
3) Ultimate Spiderman: Web Warriors
4) OUAT
5) Brooklyn Nine-Nine
6) Walking Dead
7) Family guy

Monday
8) Gotham
9) The Originals
10) Star Wars Rebels
11) American Dad
12) Castle
13) NCIS: LA

Tuesday
14) Selfie
15) Flash
16) NCIS
17) Agents of SHIELD
18) Supernatural
19) Person of Interest
20) Sons of Anarchy
21) Faking It

Wednesday
22) Arrow
23) Modern Family
24) SVU
25) Criminal Minds
26) The League
27) South Park
28) Key and Peele

Thursday
29) Bones
30) Vampire Diaries
31) Gracepoint
32) A to Z
33) Elementary (starting next week)

Friday
34) Avatar: Legend of Korra
35) Constantine (starting today)

I was actually expecting to break 40 shows. And that's only 29 hours of TV, which is actually less than previous years.

I'm not counting web series, of which I only watch two, Carmilla, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and RWBY.

WO blather- So after mentioning how awesome Xu Shu was, I thought I'd make an updated list of my top 10 favorite WO characters.

1) Xu Shu- I know, maybe its new character syndrome, but he is pretty awesome. I mean, even without the cheesy r1, he's still really cool. He has a great moveset, the rapier and hook dart looks really cool. If I have any complaints about any of it, its his running attack. He goes airborne on it, which means he can't chain his normal combos off of it like other characters can. That, and if you're charging towards a crowd of mooks, he'll basically just fly over the majority of them. (On the other hand though, its fine against officers because you can use it to knock them in the air and air combo them to death.) Plus he has a really cool musou, a la Wesker's hyper in UMvC3, the whole zig zagging back and forth slashing in hyperspeed. The fact that you can just throw out R1 arrow rains and then do all of this other stuff is just gravy.

I also love his character design, especially in Wei colors. The hooded cloak makes him look like an Assassin's creed character. In the game, he's in the Shu faction, but historically, he started in Shu, but then was forced into Wei's service. Still, I hear in DW8, he willingly joins Wei's service. Between him, Jia Xu, Guo Jia, and Sima Yi, Wei had some awesome strategists. I can't see how anyone not think Wei is the best- they have the coolest warriors and strategist, and the best leader.

2) Ginchiyo Tachibana- lightning girl herself. She's a beast. She has a great and varied moveset, being an SW "normal" type, with awesome moves at c5, c6, and c8 and c9. c9 is a good starter, as not only will that cause lightning bolts to start dropping, it will charge her sword, beefing up her other combos. She also has a really great R1 with elemental activation, which serves as a good panic button- get in trouble, just whip it out and it will auto-refill her to full automatically if she has absorb and osmosis. I mean, I can chaos "speed is of the essence" with her no problem at all. She also has an amusing personality.

3) Mitsuhide Akechi- Like Ginchiyo, he's a SW "normal" type, so he has a whole bunch of different and cool looking charges, and he has a really good R1 with elemental activation, so again, it serves as a good panic button to refill him to full when he has absorb and osmosis. Plus, I like that he starts out as Oda's bad-ass right hand man, like his personal reaper (reaper was his name in Devil Kings, which his appropriate), taking out anyone who stands in his master's way. And he has a cute daughter.

4) Zhong Hui- Ida know some people don't like his moveset because its "unrealistic", but I like the floating swords and him doing the whole flying torpedo thing. But yeah, his personality is great, I love that smug arrogance, bragging about his special training. I also like his whole, "You must have had some sort of special training" that he spouts out whenever he gets beaten or someone does better than him.

5) Xiahou Dun, Xu Huang, and Zhang Liao- My Wei warriors 3. These guys just drip bad-assedness. I'm sad they don't have a unique triple attack together. And, they all use different weapon types (Xiahou Dun the Podao, Xu Huang the big-ass Axe, and Zhang Liao with the twin axes) with their own unique style. Heh, and I think you could even do an elemental theme with them. Xiahou Dun is obviously fire, what with his c3 and c6 being very fiery and explosive, Xu Huang would be earth, what with the giant earth strike he does for his musou, and Zhang Liao air, what with his rushing musou attack. All they need is someone to be water.

6) Kojiro Sasaki and Kotaro Fuma: I think they're really cool character designs, very Exalted Abyssal-ish in nature, like an undead samurai and ninja. I first noticed this pairing in SW, where one of the boards had them together going after you. They just have this scary, demonic aura about them, and they certainly revel in killing and causing chaos. In the vanilla version of the game, I couldn't think of anyone who matches them to be their third, but now I'm thinking Tamamo might work. She's got a similar aura of demonic-ness and death.

7) Lu Bu- C'mon. "It's.. it's.. Lu Bu!" The big bad-ass of DW himself. I'm sorry, I think he's more bad-ass than Honda or Keiji. At the very least, I think he has a way better moveset.

8) Zhou Tai- I may think the Wu are a bunch of low-class river people, but they do have cool guys like him at least. I mean, the silent bad-ass in black armor with the iaijutsu-ish fighting style? He just oozes bad-assedness.

9) Wang Yi- Again, Wei just has all the coolest people. This girl is easily the most bad-ass of the DW characters. Plus, I like Ma Chao and all (he just barely got edged off this list) but he's always babbling about his spear of justice, and since they're nemeses, I like using her to shut him up. I think her story also points out the hypocrisy of the Shu (heh, can you tell which faction is my favorite, given how much I badmouth the Wu and Shu). Its like, Ma Chao is always carrying on about wanting revenge on Cao Cao, but what about what he and his people did to her family. At least she's honest about it being revenge.

10) Masamune Date- I wish his moveset was a little better, but c'mon, he uses a katana and twin pistols, that's awesome! He does have a great look too, as well as a hilarious personality. He has some great lines.

Other comments, I do like all the Ninja Gaiden folks are in here now- Hayabusa, Kasumi, Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji. And Sophitia from Soul Calibur is definitely someone who fits well into the series.

I do like the new boss characters too. Hundun is a monster. Literally, he's as tall as Gyuki, and looks like this 4 armed, 4 winged demon creature. His R1 lets him take flight and rain down death on the hapless. Tamamo, as I mentioned before, has this cool demonic aura, and her moveset is really good. She has some gaps in her defense, but if you know those and protect them from being exploited, she's unstoppable.

Her upgraded form, Kyubi, is no less bad-ass. Like her c4 automatically hits 700 times, so she'll always be activating alacrity when you pull that off. Her air r1 makes her invincible, and her ground r1 summons a PC officer to fight for you. Normally one of the closest enemy PC officers, but if there are none, a clone of one of the people on your team. But yeah, I guess if you also press down on the d-pad to make your team active all at once, doing her R1 gives you an additional 4th person to fight?

So Buzzfeed has this list ranking 27 classic 00s teen movies from worst to best. Its a little terrible because instead of saying why something was ranked where it was, they just make random comments about the movie, and sometimes comments that don't have to do with the movie, but with some show one of the actors was on.

The main thing that shocked me about the list was the gif they chose for "Not Another Teen Movie", because I did not realize Ted from HIMYM was in that movie. So their top 5 were:

5) A Walk to Remember
4) Save the Last Dance
3) 13 Going on 30 (does that really count as a teen movie, Jennifer Garner's character is 30 for most of it, the whole plot is that she's no longer a teenager!)
2) Get Over It
1) Mean Girls

The only one I'm surprised at is "Get Over It". #2, really? I mean, I still have somehow not seen it (and doesn't it have like musical numbers or something?), but I didn't think it was fondly thought of amongst teen movies. So I'm surprised it would rank so high.

So falling down a stream of consciousness rabbit hole, I went from albino dark elves, to Maztica in the Forgotten Realms, to Lolth, to Lolth vs Takhisis, to Tiamat formerly residing in Zigguraxis, to Ziggurats, to Obelisks, to Monoliths (from 2001). And I think those things are up there with the Elder Gods and True Fae as creatures that utterly revulse me in fiction, what with them being all large and featureless and of perfect mathematical dimensions in a significant ratio (1:4:9).

So I made a list of top 5 fictional things that utterly horrify and disgust me with their existence:

1) elder gods (like from the Cthulu Mythos)
2) true fae
3) monoliths (like from 2001)
4) the angels from Evangelion
5) the celestials from the Marvel universe

Ida know what it is about these things, but they just creep me the hell out.

TV commentary:

Suits- Argh, this show is so frustrating! Honestly, most of the show boils down to someone experiencing a perceived slight, them firing back, and it snowballing into a huge thing that effs everything up for everyone.

Graceland- Weird, so I remember looking up Oberyn from Game of Thrones in imdb, being stumped because it said he was on several eps of Graceland, but I have no memory of who he would be on that show. And watching the previouslies last night, I saw he was Mike's handler from the 1st season. Which, holy cow, he looks totally different.

So here's a list of the 2013-2014 prime time programs, ranked by nielsen rating. So the top 10 are:

1) NBC Sunday Night Football
2) Big Bang Theory
3) NCIS
4) NCIS: LA
5) Dancing with the Stars
6) The Blacklist
7) The Voice
8) Person of Interest
9) The Voice, Tuesday edition
10) Blue Bloods

I'm amused that most of the non-reality/sports shows on that list are CBS, except for the Blacklist. I had no idea it was so popular. Also, I didn't realize NCIS: LA was that popular. I mean, I actually like it more than normal NCIS now, since its a lot more action oriented, I just didn't think it would be back to back.

But I guess that the fact they are actually back to back in the schedule helps it a lot. Same for Person of Interest. Tuesday nights is a ratings juggernaut for CBS, with all of their Tuesday night programming being on the top 10 in viewership (according to the Nielsens) But yeah, its cool to see Person of Interest is up there. What's not to like:

1) action and intrigue
2) kinda sci-fi-ish
3) they're not too heavy handed with their political commentary
4) hot chyx like Amy Acker and Sarah Shahi
5) The fact that said hot chyx are totally shippable as a hot bad-ass lesbian assassin couple. (still don't know if the better portmanteau is "shoot" or "raw") Whatever, you can't tell me Root isn't relentlessly flirting with Shaw whenever they talk.

If they could somehow work a musical number in there, it'd be my perfect show.

So, Ask Men's Top 99 Most Desirable Women's list for 2014 is out. Here's the top 10:

10) Kate Moss
9) Margot Robbie (prolly fresh in the voters minds because of Wolf of Wall St)
8) Amy Adams (ditto, but for American Hustle
7) Kerry Washington
6) Kate Upton
5) Emma Watson (I don't care what certain people say, Emma Watson is cute)
4) Jennifer Lawrence
3) Emily Ratajowski (Did she get famous from the Blurred Lines video)
2) Alison Brie
1) Emilia Clarke

Annie Edison and the Khaleesi as #2 and #1? Sure, why not, at least its ladies I know of, as opposed to some random model.

Hmm, does NBC not like Parks and Rec? All the eps for the next few weeks being pre-empted until 11/14 and 11/21. cliffv('What's up with that?!')

So they're not showing this week's ep because of the Voice's "Battle Rounds" this week going over, forcing it to spill over into this Thursday. Then next week, instead of showing Park and Rec's Halloween ep, they're pre-empting for some stupid SNL Halloween special? THEN, the week after that, they were going to originally preempt the crappy Michael J Fox show and Sean Saves the World show for another Voice thing, but they decided to preempt Parks and Rec instead. bbv('This is total BS!')

Parks and Rec is by far NBC's best sitcom, though I guess it doesn't have great ratings because people are effin stupid and would rather watch BBT? Though at the same time, is it that NBC is taking it for granted and all, "Eh, people will still watch it whenever the hell we put it on", so they choose to preempt it instead of that new crap because they're hoping people will watch their new crap?

Of course, I'm acting all indignant, when I don't even watch it live myself- I mean, there's Vampire Diaries at 8pm, Glee at 9pm, and then 10pm is Elementary. Not that I'm anywhere as big a fan of Elementary as I am the first two, its just [livejournal.com profile] clevemire also watches Elementary so that's what's on the telly at 10pm. Like if I had to rate my current top 10 hour long dramas that are still on that I watch (thus, Breaking Bad is absent because it just ended) it would be: (not necessarily in this order)

1) The Vampire Diaries
2) Glee
3) Pretty Little Liars
4) Game of Thrones
5) Once Upon a Time
6) Person of Interest
7) Doctor Who
8) The Originals
9) Arrow
10) The Walking Dead

(the Fosters and Agents of SHIELD just barely miss being in the top 10) Like if I slipped into a coma, got kidnapped by aliens, fell into a dimensional rift, or what have you and missed like this entire fall and spring TV season, these are the ten (12) hour long dramas I would catch up on first. Agents of SHIELD just hasn't grabbed me yet, like its fine, but not to the point where my anticipation is to the level the actual top ten shows are. Of course, it prolly also gets a boost in my eyes because of the Whedon connection and its Marvel. Like Marvel >> DC in terms of the actual comics, and definitely at the box office. But I think DC's been doing a better job on TV. Maybe its because the show is really new and hasn't hit it stride. Or maybe because they're not willing to explore their properties as heavily as DC is on Arrow (and back when it was still on, Smallville) Which could be because DC doesn't give an eff since they're getting their ass kicked movie wise (save for Batman), so its like they just have everyone (except Batman) show up. But since Marvel actually is making lots of bank in the theaters, they're more hesitant to use this person or that when they can introduce them in a movie and make more $ out of it. Which is disappointing, because if I'm watching a Marvel/DC show, I want to see people I know show up!

Oh, and truthfully, the Originals makes it into the Top 10 because I like the characters, its basically just an extra hour of TVD, so honestly, I should just wrap it up with TVD and bump up one of the other shows to top ten status.

Half hour sitcoms would be of course:

1) Parks and Rec
2) Its Always Sunny
3) Archer
4) HIMYM
5) Community
6) Modern Family
7) The League
8) Cougar Town
9) Brooklyn Nine-Nine
10) Wilfred

I'd put Venture Brothers on there, but it doesn't come back until 20-friggin-15.

But I digress, I don't get to see Parks and Rec until 11pm or the next day. Which makes me kinda a hypocrite to complain.

TV commentary:

Doctor Who- spoiler cut )

Its that time of year, when people come out with their hottest lists. Because I'm lazy, I'm just doing a top 10. Which isn't that different from last year's top 10, with only a couple new entrants and some rearrangement. Links go to their tags on my tumblr:

1) Barbara Palvin- surprise, surpise, a blue eyed brunette. But yeah, I just love those lips and that smile. (among other things!)

2) Victoria Justice- Not to sound creepy, but unlike a number of former teen actresses, she did indeed grow up to be as hot as people suspected she would be. Its a shame she's not in more stuff.

3) Karen Gillan- Still my favorite redhead of the moment. After all, she's already way hott, but she gets the accent boost to her hotness, which kinda makes it unfair.

4) Nina Dobrev

5) Odette Annable- Yeah, she was #1 last year, but I will admit there is always a factor of "famosity" to these kinda lists, and unfortunately, she's just been out of my mind's eye since House was canceled. Apparently she was in an ep of New Girl this year, but that must be after I stopped watching it.

6) Katrina Bowden

7) Sarah Shahi

8) Ashley Greene

9) Alison Brie

10) Naya Rivera

Eh, I'm too lazy to come up with something clever to say for all of them, other than, "they're all cute and hott". I could do a top 25, or even a 40, but top ten is all I can bother to arrange.

So After Ellen's "Best Lesbian/Bi character ever" competition is in its final four. And who made their way to the semis? So, its Emily Fitch from Skins vs Santana Lopez from Glee, and Lauren Lewis from Lost Girl vs Emily Fields from Pretty Little Liars. No offense to Lauren, but I'd like to see Emily from PLL win. Mostly because no matter who wins in the Emily Fitch vs Santana Lopez match up, it will be amusing if either go up against her. If its Emily Fitch, its the battle of the Emily Fs, and if its Santana, its like who do you choose because Naya Rivera and Shay Mitchell are practically twins.

TV commentary:

The Office- What is this documentary that they filmed for 10 effin years before releasing any of it? Who would ever finance such a thing? Also, HRG's PR team or whatever you call them, suck, if they weren't wary about his wife and secret gay lover having a documentary crew following them around. I mean, even if they didn't get anything on the senator, Angela and Oscar are associated with the senator (and I call BS if none of his staff knew he was secretly gay, its their job to know everything), and I would think they'd warn the senator of associating with folks who may be in the public eye. Specifically for what exactly happened- that they'd be filmed doing things that would look badly upon the senator for being associated with them.

But again, call me lame, but I thought it was sweet that even though things have gotten real awkward between Pam and Jim right now, the promos for the show are making her remember why she fell in love with him.

ME blather- Completed the tech mastery challenge in MP last night, so I set my profile banner to "mathemagician". And hey, I've reached top 6% in the challenge leaderboard, I wonder how long it will take to break top 5?

So, Complex just posted their list of the "50 Hottest Funny Girls of All Time". Here's their top 10:

10) Anna Farris
9) Mila Kunis
8) Isla Fisher
7) Alison Brie
6) Rashida Jones
5) Aubrey Plaza
4) Jennifer Aniston
3) Sofia Vergara
2) Tina Fey
1) Emma Stone

I have nothing clever or snarky or negative to say, since I actually like all those actresses, with two of them being in my own top 10 hotties list.
geebs: (Default)
So I saw this vid of Ashley Greene and Olivia Wilde making out on my tumblr dash. I can't remember where I saw the trailer for this movie ("Butter"), but I didn't realize Ashley Greene was in it, and that the movie would have Olivia Wilde seducing her. I mean, I don't think its a major plot point, but like how do you not put that in the trailer? That's gold right there! Also, Ashley Greene is supposed to be Phil Dunphy and Jenny Garner's daughter? I guess Ashley could be playing a teen, and I guess Haley on Modern Family is 18 or thereabouts, so I could believe him as her father, but Garner is too young/Greene too old to play mother and daughter.

So I actually haven't seen any of the leaked early pilots yet, because apparently I've been replaced by a doppleganger. [livejournal.com profile] clevemire mentioned Autumn Reeser looking all hot in the pilot for Last Resort (which also includes Jessy Schram, Dichen Lachman, and some Aussie chick). I always like seeing her in stuff. Which brings me to my Top 4 (I couldn't figure out a 5th) favorite TV actresses who've done a bunch of guest spots, sometimes being a recurring character or one of the secondary credited cast members, but never the starring role:

1) Amy Acker (hey, this is the second list I've put her on in as many days!)
2) Autumn Reeser
3) Larisa Oleynik
4) Alona Tal

I dunno, I just get particularly egg-cited when they show up on a show, even in a guest capacity. Of course, my list title is inaccurate, because Larisa is Alex Mack, so she was the star of that show being the title character, but old shows on Nick don't count! But I would say Winifred Burkle and Taylor Townsend were "secondary" characters on Angel and the OC, respectively.

Finally saw Colombiana, since it happened to just start on Encore as I was eating dinner. It was okay. Slightly boring, though Zoe Saldana runs around in real skimpy outfits, and G-D does she have a tight little body. Speaking of, here's a list of my top 5 really skinny hotties who play bad-ass assassins/spies/thieves: (In no particular order)

1) Amy Acker
2) Olivia Wilde
3) Zoe Saldana
4) Dichen Lachman
5) Beth Reisgraf

So, Warming Glow has the 10 Toughest 'Annie Vs Britta' Dilemmas on TV list. My thoughts on some of their decisions can be summed up thusly:

Anyways, here's the breakdown:

1) Betty Draper vs Megan Draper, Mad Men- They chose Megan Draper. Eh, I don't watch the show, and I can't decide between January Jones and Jessica Pare, so their choice is fine with me.

2) Daenerys Targaryen vs Margaery Tyrell, Game of Thrones- They pick Dani, which is what I who I would've picked, so no beef there.

3) Jenny vs Shiva, The League- Their choice? Shiva. Hey, I like Janine Gavankar and all, but whatever, Jenny's awesome.

4) Rose vs Amy, Doctor Who- They rightly pick Amy, because who are we kidding? Whoever says Amelia Pond is not the hottest Doctor Who companion is insane.

5) Alex vs Penny vs Jane, Happy Endings- I can see why they chose Alex, because hey, Elisha Cuthbert. They all have their pros, and maybe its the Eliza Coupe awesomeness influencing my decision here, but I'd go with Jane.

6) Lana vs Cheryl, Archer- Heh, they chose Pam. Pam is hilariously awesome, but c'mon how hot is Cheryl with her total effed up ness?

7) Ava vs Winona, Justified- Their choice was Ava, and I'm going to have to agree!

8) Jess vs Cece, New Girl- Cece is their pick. I dunno, you'd think I'd choose Jess, because she's got the neurotic, blue-eyed, brunette thing going, but I guess I might actually go with Cece. Jess is just a little too quirky.

9) Bill vs Eric, True Blood- Bill Compton?! Not to sound gay or nothing, but Eric is the obvious choice. (Speaking of vampires, I would also say Damon is better than Stefan)

10) Annie vs Britta, Community- Friggin' Britta!? Gillian Jacobs is hot and all, but who the hell would choose Britta over Annie?! Maybe its just me, but I prefer neurotic, blue eyed brunettes over pretentious artsy vegans. I actually don't recall if Britta is artsy or a vegan, but she seems like the type, because Britta is the worst.

So some site did a sexiest list, here's their results:

Sexiest Woman Alive: Kelly Brook

Sexiest Blonde: Scarjo

Sexiest Redhead: Deborah Ann Woll - Jessica on True Blood, since some people might be "who?", and that's like her only big role. Apparently these were voted on, and the category is invalid because Karen Gillan was not a choice. I mean, they had obvious picks, like Emma Stone, Christina Hendricks, Amy Adams, and Jessica Chastain. But while I like DAW, its odd that she made the nominees list and not Karen Gillan, because they're both mainly known for only one show (does Christina Hendricks also fall under that? Because people really started thinking she was hot in Firefly, but she got way more exposure from Mad Men)

Sexiest Brunette: Mila Kunis - looking more at the nominees list, were they just limiting the categories besides Sexiest Woman Alive to 5? Because its odd that Alison Brie was up for their sexiest woman alive, but wasn't in the nominees for sexiest brunette, given she's a brunette. They had Mila Kunis beat out Kate Beckinsale, Gemma Arterton, Olivia Wilde, Hayley Atwell in this category, and besides Alison, the other brunettes who were nominated for the sexiest woman alive category who were snubbed in this one were Monica Bellucci, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Sofia Vergara, Carla Gugino, and Rosario Dawson.

Sexiest Woman over 40: Rachel Weisz

Sexiest Smile: Rachel Mcadams

Sexiest Model: Kelly Brook

Sexiest Hair: Amber Heard

Sexiest Funny Girl: Emma Stone

Sexiest Eyes: Olivia Wilde

Sexiest Voice: Gemma Arterton - this is a totally weird category, the other nominees were Hayley Atwell, Alice Eve, Scarjo, and Emma Stone. Maybe its because I'm American, so I'm thinking the latter two have distinctive voices, but the other three are all English, so I'm thinking they were put on this because English accents are sexy, though I couldn't tell you if their voice was sexier than some other English chick's.

Sexiest slim lady: Keira Knightley

Sexiest curves: Hayley Atwell

Sexiest tough chick: Gina Carano - I'm amused by this category, because she would wipe the floor with the other nominees, Michelle Rodriguez, Michelle Yeoh, Kate Beckinsale, and Maggie Q. Its like she's legitimately tough, whereas the other play "tough girl" roles.

Most Beautiful Face: Dianna Agron

Sexiest Underrated Hottie: Erin Cummings - Amusingly enough, she didn't make Guyism's most underrated women celebrities of 2012 list, though several of the winners and nominees in these other categories did. She beat out Katie McGrath, Ellen Page, Imogen Poots, and Emmanuelle Chriqui. Which is weird, because I wouldn't say Ellen Page and Emmanuelle Chriqui are underrated, they're effin' famous! I'm not sure how famous the latter two are, as they're English. I only know them as Morgana from Merlin and the girl from "28 Weeks Later".

But speaking of the underrated women list of 2012, here they are: (And I bet [livejournal.com profile] zarathustra94 doesn't even know who most of these are! They're like Lombard Montague and Grace McLady to him)

1) Carla Gugino

Ah, so there are going to be 3 more seasons of Avatar: The Legend of Korra, according to Comic Con. They're apparently breaking from the elemental theme of The Last Air Bender with the 2nd book being called Spirits.

Ah, and apparently they've been giving out A:TLoK posters at Comic Con, one featuring the current cast, and the other featuring grown up Aang, Katara, Toph, Zuko, and Sokka. The grown up versions of the old gang look pretty bad-ass. Particularly Zuko!

Since I was told my Top 25 Celeb Hotties of 2012 was too short, I'll make it a top 40. So here's 26-40:

26) Minka Kelly
