So Drake released his music video for "I'm Upset":



Which is a nice Degrassi reunion! Heh, before this video came out, I think people were criticizing the song for being about him being tired of paying child support. Which, that is kinda devious to make people overlook all that by making the video a huge nostalgia-fest.

I'm amused he got Rick for this, I feel like he was just a guest star who's arc was to go crazy and go on a shooting spree to cripple Jimmy. But I guess he was actually around for a bit. Its even funnier he got Nina Dobrev for this, given I don't even think they interacted. I mean, its obvious why they did, because she's prolly the second most famous person on that show after Drake.

And its not like she was the only one far removed from the originals, besides Mia, Jane, Derek, Danny, and Connor feel a bit removed from the rest of the people in the video. Jane and Danny (who was Liberty's little brother, that's how much younger he was than the others) were class of 2008, which is the same class Mia and Derek would've graduated with had they not left. And Connor was freaking class of 2014 due to the time retcon. (Also, dude got big! Well, he was actually big on the show, its just he was playing a "nerd" so I guess you didn't think it) So they must be friendly with the originals to score an invite to the video.

But Sean and Jay and I guess Alex must've pissed someone off, since I think they were the main people from the first two seasons who weren't there. I mean, Jay and Alex weren't as main as the rest of them, but Sean definitely was. And ha, JT apparently didn't show up because he thought the whole thing was a scam!

I guess its also amusing they got Terri, because while she was an original, she left pretty early in the series.

Hmm, looking at the TV schedule in the upcoming weeks, it seems like there's even more TV than the Fall?! How is that possible?! Like Monday through Wednesday are ridiculously full. I mean, I guess USA and Freeform show a bunch of stuff in the winter, and now SyFy actually has shows during the week (not Friday) again. Thank god we live in a world of DVRs and streaming, otherwise I'm not sure we'd have everything covered.

Heh, so apparently they had a special where they talked with previous cast members, which I didn't see. But they did intersperse interviews with the cast during the commercial breaks these past few weeks. Some people I totally forgot existed. And it was weird to hear them refer to Drake as "Aubrey". But heh, they couldn't get anecdotes from him, or Nina Dobrev, or even Shenae Grimes? I guess they would be considred the most "successful" Degrassi alum, in that order? Though obviously there are big gapes between those three? After that, I don't know if it would be maybe Cassie Steele or Stacey Farber since they actually had shows after this, whereas everyone else who still did stuff were mostly guest stars?

Accidentally upgraded to Windows 10 today. I mean, I had put my e-mail address into the little pop up to get in the cue, and thought even if you did that, you could defer the actual upgrade. But when I came home from work this afternoon, it was already downloading the upgrade. And it did give me a chance to wait, but only until the 31st. I was hoping to wait a few weeks while they ironed out any first day bugs that cropped up. But, its working so far, and the transition to the new version was way more seamless than I was expecting, so that was cool.
