Accidentally upgraded to Windows 10 today. I mean, I had put my e-mail address into the little pop up to get in the cue, and thought even if you did that, you could defer the actual upgrade. But when I came home from work this afternoon, it was already downloading the upgrade. And it did give me a chance to wait, but only until the 31st. I was hoping to wait a few weeks while they ironed out any first day bugs that cropped up. But, its working so far, and the transition to the new version was way more seamless than I was expecting, so that was cool.

TV commentary:

Degrassi- I'm actually amused how everything actually tied together this ep. Usually the plots don't intersect this much. So, it turns out it was Damon who was shot. Vince wanted to scare him since he did stab his brother. But then Damon apparently lunged at Tiny even though he had a gun with him and got shot. He's alive, but can't walk (because he was shot in the leg, I don't think he was paralyzed or anything). And he's apparently convalescing in the hospital Becky and Drew are volunteering at (along with a couple of other Degrassi kids). Heh, they didn't even know Damon goes to their school!

But yeah, $200 of Becky's goes missing, and she thinks Damon stole it because she left her purse in his room. She confronts him, wherein she finds out he goes to Degrassi, but also couldn't have stolen the money because he can't even get out of bed.

So who stole the money? Well, first lets get back to the Zig story. The cops come around asking questions, and check with Zig. Zig doesn't say anything, but to prove his loyalty, Vince wants him to collect some money he's owed for drugs. And who does he rough up? Jonah! Turns out he's a druggie who owes money and was the one who stole Becky's money. Becky sees Zig roughing up Jonah in the hall, but Jonah doesn't see her since Tiny is blocking things and menaces her away. It does seem like a plot convenience though, because Becky seems like the type to have immediately said something as soon as she saw something happening to Jonah, but for some reason she didn't react, giving her enough time to see Jonah give Zig the money.

Needless, to say, she's devastated at the betrayal. And hilariously, that's when Drew comes up to apologize for calling her boyfriend shady. You know, I didn't check, but I will applaud the show immensely if the hall Zig and Tiny used to threaten Jonah was the same one with the broken camera because Clare got pissed and smashed it last ep. Like, since they made a big deal about the draconian security measures, it would be cool if Zig was able to do what he did because there was finally a camera offline.

In the third plot, it seems like Frankie and Winston are set to reconcile. But Frankie is still wary. So, she gets Lola to try and test him. Trouble is, Frankie isn't dumb and realizes he's being tested and gets pissed that she was trying to entrap him and calls her crazy. So, she quits the play! Luckily, Zoe is allowed to take her place.

Which leads us to the third intersection of the plots. So because of the rising gang violence, it sounds like Damon's boys are wanting to retaliate, and make it clear they're going to go after Zig, and even Maya. So the ep ends with Ms Pill wanting to talk to Imogen about the play, and I'm guessing she wants to either cancel it, or not let Zig be in it due to safety concerns from the gang threats. Like I said, the plots usually don't tie together like this, so its pretty neat that they do here.
