So I've basically had JCS stuck in my head all week. They released the soundtrack today, though its odd because the songs that you could pre-order, like "Gethsemane" and "I Don't Know How to Love Him' sound like studio recordings, while the rest of the soundtrack seems taken from the actual concert. Though at least it seems like the audio levels are adjusted so the crowd isn't drowning out the singers as much.

So I have songs from the 1973, 2000, and 2018 versions on my ipod, and I'll say my favorite versions of songs stretch across all three. Like you can't beat he '73 version of "Heaven on Their Minds", and I really like Sara Bareilles version of "I Don't Know How to Love Him". I think the 2000 version had the best version of "Simon Zealotes" though.

Saw The Last Jedi today with the usual suspects. I thought it was really good. Go see it before you get spoiled, because there are some pretty good surprises there. Like Force Awakens, it does make reference to the previous movies, but I don't necessarily think its a bad thing. Especially since it invariably does not go the way you expect it to go.
