Arrow- So that's her plan? Black Siren pretending to be Laurel and publicly being found so it'll be harder for Dinah to try and kill her. Of course, that presumes Dinah gives a shit, like, what if she's all, "Whatever, I'll tank my career, go to jail and not care that people think I killed a beloved hero of the city!"
But who's side is Laurel on, she seems to be back in Richard Dragon's fold, but that may just be an alliance of survival.
In any case, Dinah wasn't that bad with her whole revenge thing, so it was a welcome respite from the usual NTA bitching that has plagued the show this past couple of weeks.
And hey, looks like next week is Nyssa and the LoA-heavy? Again, better that than the OTA/NTA feud.
OUAT- Hmm, new characters. So this was a Tiana episode, showing how she met Naveen, and reintroducing Dr Facilier as a villain. Who apparently has some past with Regina? Were they lovers? Because in the Heights, Regina and Zelena try to test if he's awake by having Zelena claim she's Roni and Regina be Kelly. He seems to be fooled, so Regina is all, I guess he's still asleep!
But then she goes to his apartment later and was all, she could tell he was pretending to be fooled. Like, are they making her bad again, or is she playing him?
Other stuff, Weaver and Rogers' investigation leads them to figure out someone is killing witches of the coven. Which shouldn't that point to one of the good guys as the mysterious attacker?
Oh, and Lucy finds a page of the book warning her that the curse will kill Henry. So at least now she knows not to try and get her parents together just yet.
AoS- Some answers! So we find out Coulson's deal with Ghost Rider, and its not that big- allowing Ghost Rider to inhabit his body burned through whatever Kree stuff was keeping him alive. So now he's slowly dying again from Loki's wound from the first Avengers movie.
Also, as some people suspected, Deke is related to Fitzsimmons, apparently he's their grandson. Not that he or they realize it, but General Hale has learned they're related. Not that she knows the significance of that, since she doesn't know who he is.
Jessica Jones- I thought this season was fine. I think the main hangup I have is I wasn't sold on Jessica's mom's motivation. Like I get she gets dissociative episodes, but I'm skeptical they would've manifested the way they did just from Trish starting to talk about IGH on the air. I mean, if it was Karl using her as an assassin, I could believe that, but he was totally clueless.
Like if it was that big a deal, I figured Alisa would've just gone straight for Trish and try and kill her like she did when Karl died. Its weird that she'd be so enraged to want to kill, but apparently have enough self control to make the deaths look like accidents?
Anyways, heh, the main complaints I see coming from people this season are people upset that Jessica blew up all her relationships. Like all she has left at the end of the season is Oscar, having pissed off Malcolm and cut out Trish since Trish killed her mom. They forget that those three and Jeri are freaking beyond broken people, who's lives are huge messes. Things aren't going to be all happy for them all the time!
And there are people who like totally hate Trish now. But for what? Yes, she effed up. She says she wants powers to help people and hates how Jessica pisses these powers away, and Jess claims Trish has just always been jealous and as much a fame/power seeker as her mom. And I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. Like I really do think Trish wants to help people, but the way she was raised, I think there is a narcissistic aspect to it as well. Which is fine, because again, Jessica and her friends are messed up people.
I mean, Malcolm is in a similar boat as Trish. He also wants to help people, and is also angry at Jessica for not taking it seriously and just wallowing in self pity. Jessica thinks its just his addictive personality kicking in, but again, I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. As it is, he joins Chang in working for Jeri, because it seems they finally appreciate his talents, and he might be able to help people. But then he comes to learn that working for Pryce and Jeri may entail doing things Jessica would find distasteful, which is why Jeri has Pryce on the payroll for in the first place. To do the things Jess won't.
So I think next season he will regret his choice and make up with Jessica. And I think Jessica will eventually forgive Trish- like they'll prolly cross paths more now that it seems Karl's treatments worked and Trish seems to have powers. Like, killing her mom is beyond effed up, but I think they can work it out.
Trish brought up a good point, Alisa had to be put down, it wasn't a matter of if she would kill again but when. I mean, even her mom knew that. Like they hoped they couldn't just run away together and be a family. Alisa thought her daughter could pull her back from the brink at first, but one, after killing a cop, there's no coming back from that, they'll be hunted for the rest of their lives. And secondly, she seems okay now. But all it takes is one little thing and she could accidentally snap and kill Jessica or other innocents.
Trish did it because Jess couldn't, and because if they waited for the cops to get there and do it, Jessica would definitely be lying dead next to her mom as well. Jessica is all it didn't have to be Trish, but it did, she's the only one who cared enough about Jessica again to not kill her alongside her mom. I mean, Costa was barely able to hold his own men back after they found Jessica with Alisa corpse, because even though Jessica wasn't as murderous as her mom, they're still scared of her.
But yeah, whatever, its a TV show, of course they're going to milk the drama. I don't think anything happened between the characters that can't be fixed.
