TV commentary:

OUAT- Ah, so now we know what its all about. So Hansel actually didn't get his burns from the witch with the candy house. It all started when Zelena got into a tussle with said witch. She stomps into the candy house trying to tell that witch to get the hell out of Oz, and manages to temporarily knock her out. But, Hansel and Gretel happen to be her prisoners and they beg Zelena to free them. She's all who the hell are you, and its distraction enough for the witch to blast her from behind and damage Zelena's necklace.

The witch boots Zelena out, who wanders the woods for a while before collapsing. She's found by Hansel and Gretel's dad, who's blind, and as such doesn't judge her by her skin. She's touched by how nice he is to her, but soon discovers he's the dad of the kids she's abandoned. So even though he's worried about them, she lies about knowing their whereabouts until she can recover and rescue them. In her defense, she was worried about him, because if he knew where they were, he would run headlong into danger, despite being blind, and just end up getting killed.

So once she recovers, Zelena takes the witch on for round two, stealing her sight. Zelena rushes inside, and finds the cages empty, thinking the witch killed and ate them already. So she goes back, to find out Hansel and Gretel escaped themselves, and told their dad all about her. He's furious at being lied to, even though she says did it to protect him. She even offers to restore his sight. But he's not having any of it, he calls her a monster and tells her to leave.

Needless to say, she's pissed and lashes out. She tosses the magic dust that will heal his eyes into the fire, and Hansel gets mad and grabs a knife to attack her, so Zelena animates the fire to immolate her arms. So she caused Hansel's scars, not an encounter with the witch's oven.

In the present, Nick tells Henry his plan, tries to convince Henry he's doing a heroic thing! He's killing evil witches! Oh, and he's awake! He woke up that night at the hospital when he took the blood test for Lucy. And not only that, he has proof about Henry's true identity, because the tests show Henry is Lucy's real father. Henry is skeptical though, that paper is faked! It was from the doctor Hansel killed!

But yeah, Hansel was in a bad place when Henry first encountered him back in EF. His sister had gone dark from her experiences, vowing to never be powerless again, and we saw what happened there. But then he met Henry and company, and they had adventures, and Henry thought he was Jack the giant slayer, so he ran with it. He wanted to be the hero Jack, not the broken Hansel. He thought he could get past things, but eventually the desire for revenge overcame him.

Anyways, Henry tries to say all sorts of things to try and convince Nick to let him go, even being all, he's the author, he'll write Hansel a happy ending. But despite their current situation, Hansel knows Henry because they were really friends, so he knows Henry's tricks and tactics. Hansel won't be dissuaded from killing Henry's aunt, who he informs Henry is Kelly. And this is where Henry accidentally reveals too much- he mentions Kelly being innocent and begs Hansel not to hurt her or her daughter or her fiancee. And so Hansel knocks Henry out and goes after Chad, Kelly's fiancee.

Lucky for Henry, some cops find his car abandoned on the side of the road and inform Rogers. So he goes to see Jacinda, who's all, she got some texts from Henry saying he was fine the night before (which was really Hansel, of course). But Rogers figures it out- the gingerbread house Jack got for Lucy, the texts from Henry calling her "J", which Jacinda says is not something Henry calls her, but Rogers noticed Nick called her that at the bar the other day. So he asks Jacinda if Nick has scars, and he does. So he warns her and heads to Nick's apartment, rescuing Henry.

Meanwhile, Hansel calls Zelena saying he has Chad hostage, and they end up in a confrontation where Chad hears a lot of their dirty laundry (though luckily not too much, he doesn't know about the whole fairy tale thing, or else he'd think they're nuts!). Zelena ends up coming out on top and gets Hansel at knife point, but doesn't kill him. Instead, she lets the cops arrest him.

She talks to Chad later, thinking he'll want to break up with her after finding out about her past. But he still loves her, and still wants to marry her. So Regina tells her sister to go back to San Francisco with him, she can handle Goethals and breaking the curse (especially since she has the last ingredient to cure Henry) She asks Margot if she wants to come, but HH has grown on her. Plus there's Tilly. Since Zelena actually has her memories back, she knows this is her daughter's love, so even though it may be new to Margot, her mom knows its the real thing.

Oh, you know who's also awake? Drew! Apparently Facilier woke Naveed up, and since he's still under the Doctor's thumb, he wants Drew to get close to Sabine again. Why? To get her to trust him and make a beignet while having that trust, even though he's deceiving her. Apparently, because of the emotion behind it, Facilier can use the sugar off that beignet to power a voodoo doll.

And what is it for? He goes to visit Hansel at the police station, revealing he woke Hansel up to use against Goethals and the coven. But then he had to change targets and go after Zelena, getting caught. Hansel is all, well, "get me out of here and I can hunt Goethals down!" But its too late, Facilier says he's outlived his usefulness, stabbing the voodoo doll in the heart to kill Hansel.
