OUAT- You know, when the new season first started, I was like, why did they bother? But I will say with the recent developments, I'm into it. Making Ivy/Drizella the actual villain was a pretty awesome twist. And thinking about it, makes perfect sense. Victoria seemed like Regina 2.0 on the surface, but she's actually the Cora to Ivy's Regina.
So we learn that Regina ended up running into Drizella, and feeling sorry for her. Lady Tremaine keeping her daughter under her thumb and preventing her from learning magic so she could never escape her. So Regina becomes her teacher.
Rumpel ends up showing up and catching up and gives Regina some words of wisdom- why does Lady Tremaine really want her daughter not to learn magic? And so Regina and Drizella do a scrying spell and see Lady Tremaine practicing removing Anastasia heart. Why? So she can switch it with Drizella's to bring her back. Drizella's pretty upset at the reveal, and wants Regina's help in killing her mother.
Regina of course, refuses, which Driz takes as a betrayal. Driz says she'll just tell the prince and take care of it herself. So she and the Prince confront her mom, and Regina tries to stop them. Only, Drizella wasn't actually trying to sic the prince on Lady Tremaine. Nope, he was only there for Drizella to kill, blackening her heart so her mom could no longer use it.
But, that was just the beginning. Regina had told Drizella about the dark curse, but as a warning! However, Drizella wants to cast it to cause her mother suffering. Regina mouths off that heroes will find a way to break curses, so Drizella tells her she'll just have to find a way to hero proof it.
And we learn how in the present (sort of). Ivy ends up waking up Roni, because she needs her help to keep Henry and Jacina apart. We don't know why yet, but apparently Drizella did something before casting the curse that will cause Regina not want to break it because something bad will happen to her loved ones. Unfortunately, we don't know what that is yet.
But now that she's awake, she has to sit there and hang out with Henry, unable to tell him of their true relationship!
Other stuff, there's a side plot with Tilly giving Rogers some advice, which makes him decide to question the tattooed guy. Unfortunately, he finds the guy dead!
