NCIS:LA- Seriously, show? Its not emotional drama, its just gross. And prosaic. I mean, I think the amount of times they did this has dipped into the double digits. I don't know why the show thinks it needed to do this, but it was unnecessary. They freaking killed off Michelle? Why?! To give Sam manpain?!
I mean, how many wives have been killed off on the show? Gibbs started off with having a murdered wife, Shannon. But yeah, his and Fornell's ex-wife, Diane, also got murdered. Vance's wife. Delilah got crippled.
Now, I won't count Kate or Jenny, because technically those actresses wanted to leave. I WILL count Ziva though, because the character was gone, and then they just killed her off off-screen so Tony would have an excuse to leave.
Its just annoying, because fridging Michelle was totally unnecessary. Its trite, and boring, and its been done. I don't need to see another character having to go through the pain of losing his wife/gf and going on a revenge spree.
Its gross, because Michelle was pretty cool- Sam had this wife who was totally bad-ass, but was semi-retired in order to raise their kids. Like it was nice to have her show up every once in a while, but also to have her just be a constant in the background. But nope, they kill her off just for a dumb, overdone arc.
