Fargo- Ha, great ep. That random Key and Peele cameo was hilarious, talk about oblivious! They totally miss Malvo wiping out Fargo, which BTW, is insane. Like I figured Malvo would have to watch out for them, did not expect him to just head straight at them and kill them all.
Aw, but poor Mr Wrench, he was really sad about Mr Numbers death. And poor Molly, she's fine, though Gus feels really guilty about accidentally shooting her. Anyways, she thinks she's made some headway, since she rememberd seeing Wrench and Numbers at Lester's office, and then they went after Malvo. But then she comes back home, and finds out they've arrested Lester's brother.
Which Lester weaves a convincing story to Bob Odenkirk, I didn't see that coming, that he would pretend he was scared and covering for his brother. But geez, he's really running with the new found confidence, when his boss tells him insurance company is denying Kate Walsh's claim (because her husband stopped paying the premium), he goes over all, "Oh, sorry, they denied you claim, but I could fix things for you, if you doing something for me...". So he like totally bangs her in front of a pic of her husband, really getting off on the sitch.
Faking It- Is it wrong to think Lauren is kinda cute? I mean, you know cruel, neurotic and bitchy has always been one of my types. But argh, this show is way too short, I really wish it was an hour, because it seems like once it really gets going, its already over! And argh, this show is getting me... hopeful! So going on Shane's advice Amy decides to go along with the threesome, to use that as an excuse to see if Karma feels the same way. And she's definitely liking Karma in her lingerie. But then Karma reveals the plan is to have Amy back out at the last minute so it will just be her and Liam.
Amy sheepishly acts like she's going along with it, but then decides to seize the day, showing up in a black bra and panties. And Karma is floored- its the first time where seemed truly attracted to Amy. And then the kiss- its a parallel of the pilot where Karma is all, "Whoa... way to sell it!" but this time she seems like she's legitimately woah-ed. So they might actually have Karmy end up together in the end.
But alas, after they kiss, Liam kisses Amy, as his dumb jock-o friends gave him advice earlier to kiss the one he's less attracted to first. But yeah, its all too much for Karma, with a possible tinge for Amy combined with seeing two people she's into now kissing, I think maybe she was worried she would lose Amy and Liam at the same time to each other. So she flees, leaving Amy and Liam totally confused.
What I loved about that scene was the role reversal- Karma has usually been the one in the lead in all this. But this time, its Amy taking charge, and its just really sweet the way she unwrapped Karma from her trenchcoat, looking at her like a kid on Christmas morning opening a present. And Karma is looking at Amy in a similar way- like its a similar level of desire, but in a different way, if that makes any sense. Like she didn't know her best friend could be that beautiful.
So I guess she had the look of someone who didn't know so much beauty could exist in the world and they're so overwhelmed they don't know how to react. It was cute how suddenly shy she got.
Is it weird that in a scene where two cute young girls are about to have a threesome, I'm focusing on how lovingly they're looking at each other. Like I'm thinking less, "Ooh, girls making out, HOTT!" and more, will they find love with each other and be together for real?
In the B-plot, Lauren apparently has a gay best friend that I guess she only sees during dance practice since he goes to a different school in a different town? But Shane's totally interested in him and Lauren is feeling protective, because Shane is kinda a player, and she doesn't want to lose her friend from Shane breaking his heart.
So like, I actually like Lauren and Shane as friends, because as they say, they actually do have a lot in common. In the end, he does stay away from the guy, so as to not hurt Lauren. Aw!
