TV commentary:

Faking It- I really wish this show was longer, because 20 minutes is a little too short, it seems like they didn't address certain plot developments adequately. Well, hopefully they'll address them soon, but it seems weird to just end the ep with those things unresolved. So Farrah makes Lauren her maid of honor, and basically they're like best friends, making Amy totally jealous. She thinks Lauren is doing it on purpose just to get a rise out of her, and Karma tells her to let it go, because she knows her BFF really well, and what if there is some other reason Lauren is being so nice? Then she'll feel bad about it later.

And indeed, Amy eventually has too much and has a blow up at the shower. After they're sent to their rooms, Amy tries to get Lauren to admit she's faking liking her mom. But Lauren reveals its not fake- given the town they lives in, pathetically Farrah is the only person in town that feels like a friend. So Amy feels pretty bad after that.

Then her mom comes in, thinking Amy is just getting back at her for not being more accepting of things. Which, I think deep down, its a little of that. I mean, I don't think she's being all, "Oh, eff you, you homophobic bitch! I'm gonna mess up your wedding" More that she thinks Lauren is the daughter her mom always wanted, and I'm sure there's a little of that jealousy that fed Amy's blow up. And I'm sure part of her wonders how much the lesbian thing plays into it.

But like I said, they don't address any of that this episode. Like, I would at least like to have seen Lauren and Amy talk things out, see Amy have some discussion with her mom. As long as they don't drop it and address it later. Its just if they had an hour, they could've fit it into one episode.

Meanwhile Liam is wanting to get over Karma by hooking up, so he take Shane to their favorite bar. But Shane keeps cock blocking him because all the girls Liam tries to close with have awful gay friends for Shane. They eventually almost hook up with a pair of fraternal twins (Peter and Petra) they know, but while Liam is oblivious, Shane realizes the twins are a little TOO close. They have to blow when the police come into the bar checking IDs.

Shane eventually susses out of Liam that he didn't sleep with Karma because he actually likes her, and also doesn't want to sneak behind Amy's back, because he's not like that. Its interesting, because Shane is such in a precarious position- Amy's his friend, but so is Liam. They both like Karma. So on the one hand, he's feeling kinda bad having to keep it secret from his best friend, when the whole reason he doesn't want to get with Karma is based on a lie. But if he lets Liam and Karma get together, Amy will be crushed.

In the end, Liam reveals that he doesn't want to sleep with Karma since she's with Amy. And what the frick, since Karma wants him so bad, she suggests a threesome. I'm sure Amy will be thrilled with that. Particularly since the preview for next ep has Karma asking if she wants to practice beforehand.

Fargo- Crazy ep! But first things first, is Lester a psychopath now? I wasn't sure what his plan is- was it he planted the gun in his nephew's bag, so then they'd go to his brother's house, check the gun cabinet and find the hammer hidden in there? Like its kinda funny that he was looking at the picture of his brother's family, sees the son, and you think he's feeling bad, but nope, he just thought of planting a gun on his nephew. Which, how is that going to work? What is the narrative for his brother being involved in all that?

But yeah, pretty deadly episode. Malvo needs a distraction to keep the cops away, so he makes it look like Dennis was shooting at people from his home, and basically tied him up with a shotgun in his hand, set to fire when the cops came in. So, they turn poor Dennis into swiss cheese.

Malvo is proud of himself, but then he somehow gets ambushed by Adam Goldberg and the deaf guy. How the frick where they able to find him so fast, in the middle of a blizzard? But yeah, so they get into this crazy zero-visiblity gunfight. Malvo manages to get the jump on Adam Goldberg, learning its Fargo after him before cutting his throat. Coincidentally, Molly and Gus were having coffee nearby and happen upon this. They find Mr. Numbers with his throat cut, and then given how hard the snow is coming down, Gus immediately loses track of Molly.

He hears a commotion, and shoots blindly, and of course hits Molly. Hopefully he did not accidentally kill her.

As for supermarket guy, he flakes on Malvo- I think Malvo worked too hard on the whole biblical thing. So, instead of paying of the blackmailer, Stavros thinks he just needs to return the money he found to that random spot. So he does and thinks he's in the clear. But then coincidentally, his son dies in a tragic car accident caused by a storm of fish.

I mean that's part of the plan, but he also planted picture of his wife and her underwear. And it was in response to his brother being an asshole to him at the beginning of that episode (which technically is sorta justified, but not from Lester's perspective).
