Man, the recent renewal/cancellation news has been crazy. I was pretty annoyed they canceled Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the Mick and the Last Man on Earth. Thank goodness, NBC saved B99, but I'm annoyed the Mick and Last Man on Earth ended on huge cliffhangers. I'm also disappointed they canceled Great News, and definitely angry they canceled the Expanse.
I'm hoping someone will pick it up, but Netflix just renewed Lost in Space (which is a good thing!), and have some other sci-fi shows they're starting up, so there might not be room for the Expanse on their platform. And I think I heard Amazon just dropped a bunch of money on an Expanse-ish show, so its doubtful they'll pick it up. I'm just more annoyed at the crappy deal Syfy made when they got this show, because honestly, it does make a whole lot of sense to drop the show. But you'd think they could renegotiate their contract or something.
I'm surprised Elementary was renewed given how far back CBS pushed it. (It freaking started in May!) Its hilarious they renewed Lethal Weapon given the mess with Rigg, but apparently they're replacing him with Stifler who's playing a new character. Gotham was supposedly not going to be renewed if Lethal Weapon was, but apparently it did for one last season.

Mar. 16th, 2017 09:54 amSo I unlocked all the costumes I could unlock in MKX without having to play people online. Which basically means I'm never going to get them. Currently working on the other unlocks. Most of which just involve playing characters a certain number of times. However, the other involve playing hourly and premier towers. Which involve an internet connection, but more importantly, require Netherrealm to keep the servers up. I mean, hopefully they'll stay up for a while, but the game is a couple of years old now and their new game Injustice 2 is coming out in a couple of months.
Its kinda annoying, because the premier tower refreshes on a WEEKLY basis, Monday night/Tuesday morning. There's a few dozen of them, because there's one for every character, and the first three games, as well as a lot of the major holidays. I already missed out on a couple because I just didn't play that mode the first couple of weeks I got it. And heh, depending on how the holidays fall, I might miss the Christmas or New Year one because I'd most likely be away from my PS4 during those times. Like its Tuesday to Monday, so in theory I should be able to do the Xmas one before leaving for NYC, and be able to do New Year's after I get back. But I guess it depends where they fall in the week and when the game decides to start them. But its not really that big a deal, because they just unlock stuff for your kombat kard when you beat them.
More troublesome are the hourly towers, because they unlock kustom kombat modifiers. Now, I don't mind missing out on aesthetic things, but at the very least I try to unlock everything in a game that affects gameplay. Otherwise I feel I'm missing out. Like not seeing a costume, whatever. But not playing something the developers programmed in feels like I haven't gotten my money's worth. I have 32 left to get, but its random which one shows up every hour. So basically, its a waiting thing, hoping they happen to show up during the hours I'm able to play. I've definitely started getting more repeats in a day than new ones at this point.
Also, I wish they were clearer with how certain modes, like test your might, worked. Heh when I first played ne, I was thinking, you have to press all four of the pad buttons simultaneously, then LT+RT? Thankfully, I quickly learned it was just EITHER LT or RT. But for a while, the mode seemed impossible, because at higher levels I couldn't press all four buttons simultaneously to focus might enough. But it turns out its not push all four buttons simultaneously, I guess its just pressed all of them a lot, not necessarily at the same exact moment. So once I learned you could just roll your thumb back and forth between square+x and triangle+O, the mode became infinitely easier.
