TV commentary:

The Expanse- Lots of ship based stuff in the season finale. On the Roci, they find out one of the proto-creatures had gotten into the ship's cargo bay, so Amos and Holden try to take it out. In the ensuing chaos, Holden is pinned to the wall by a mag-locked container, which crushes his leg. Also, they figure out the proto creature is attracted to radiation, and its trying to tear into their core to get at it.

So they're scrambling to figure out a way to save themselves and Holden, though given the dire situation, if worst comes to worst, they plan to blow the airlock, which will kill Holden. Eventually Prax comes up with a solution- the thing is attracted to radiation, and they have a bunch of nukes. So he and Naomi go outside and take a core out of the casing of one of the nukes to draw out the creature.

At first, there's a scare where you think Prax isn't going to toss the core away because he thinks its his daughter, but he does at the last minute. And then once its off, Alex reorients the ship to immolate it in the Roci's jetwash.

Over with Chrisjen, she, Cotyar, and Draper are pinned down by Mao's men. Cotyar's wounded, but luckily Draper manages to sneak into the vents to get back to the ship, as Cotyar brought Bobbie's armor along just in case. I was a little confused at the end, when Mao's men offer to let Cotyar and Bobbie off if they just leave Chrisjen. Chrisjen seems to think Cotyar is going to screw her over (I forget, did we know he was following her out of a debt to her son? Like did they mention it before and I just didn't pick up on it?). Which is funny because she's such a politician that she thinks in such terms- Cotyar would give her up because that's what's in his best interest.

He does surrender, but I guess because he's hoping this will keep Chrisjen safe. His hope is that if hostilities cease, and Mao needs her, they won't kill her. Unfortunately, his gamble does not pay off, as Mao tells his men to clean things up. But luckily, that's when Bobbie shows up and beats the hell out of Mao's men (as the guns are all biometrically locked so she can't use them)

And on Venus, that one ship tries to race the Martian ship sent there to the crater, but they're caught in something, which seems to take the ship apart all around them. It didn't look like they died, so I'm guess the proto molecule entity is giving them a survivable environment, at least for now?

In the end, we learn Naomi has a huge secret! Earth and Mars both had the proto-molecule, and so she felt the Belt would need it too, just to stay alive in this arms race. So, she didn't actually destroy their sample by sending it to the sun. She hid it away, and when it seemed the Somnambulist was going to be destroyed last ep, she told Fred Johnson about it, so the Belt would have its own sample.

Also, we see Prax's daughter, still looking human, in a pod and being stored in some mysterious room full of other pods. But hey, at least we know she wasn't the creature that broke into the ship and was killed.
