So EW has a "where are they now?" article on the actors of the OC, including a where are they now for the characters as well, by Josh Schwarz himself.

Which, what's up with that? Ryan and Taylor don't end up together? He has Ryan starting to go out with Alex (ostensibly to name drop Olivia Wilde), which, isn't she gay? Anyways, you know how big a fan I was of Ryan/Taylor, so I'm disappointed. And if he had to be with someone else, it would be Lindsay, then Kaitlyn, then Summer. Alex wasn't even on the list, again, because isn't she a lesbo? Obviously, Kaitlyn is his step sister now, and Summer is with Seth. But yeah, for a casual watcher or someone reading the article who hasn't seen the OC but was curious, they could mention Alex and be all, "that was Olivia Wilde's character!" But yeah, the whole randomly bumping into Alex on airplane, if it was Lindsay, that would've been a nice bit of kismet. Actually, I wanna say someone on my friends list wrote such a story already.

Meanwhile, Taylor ends up with... Nate Archibald? Random! Though I like the whole moving back to France and being neighbors with Harold and Roman, and meeting Blair through them, and she hooking up her with Nate.

I do find it funny they have Lucy Hale playing Little Miss Vixen in the fictional Atomic County movie, given she was like Kaitlyn's version of Summer at private school.

It is kinda hilarious that they go through the list, and most of them have projects going on/shows they're currently on, and the one doing the least now (Marissa/Mischa Barton) is also the only dead character. I mean Summer is on Hart of Dixie, Luke on Nashville, Julie on Nikita, Kaitlyn on Arrow, Che on Parks and Rec, Kirsten on Perception, Sandy on Covert Affairs. Southland was only recently canceled on Ryan, and even Taylor has pretty regularly guested on things since the OC's cancellation. Not to mention Last Resort was only recently canceled too, and she had No Ordinary Family before that.

Anyways, just watched Bourne Legacy. So, apparently this has overlap with Ultimatum, which as we know, overlapped there at the end with Supremacy, so basically all three of these films take place during the exact same time period. Are they making a sequel, because the plot plays out like the first 2/3 of any of the previous films, then it feels like it abruptly ends. It was okay, though I think the movie did spend a little too much on the boring part of spywork. I know analysis plays a big role, but I don't need like a bunch of scenes were people are all, "Oh, get the passengers manifest for all these airports! We're going to look through names until something interesting pops up!" spoiler cut )

TV commentary:

Parks and Rec- So Jerry has a hot wife (played by the still good looking Christie Brinkley) and three hot daughters? Interesting.

The League- I will say, Catalina's ass was a pleasant surprise. And Jenny with the edible undies was pretty hot.

Last Resort- Since this show is canceled, I do hope they at least give it a conclusive ending. We at least finally learn what happened in Pakistan. spoiler cut )

Person of Interest- Hmm, poor Lionel! spoiler cut )

ME blather- Just completed the prologue mission and am currently wandering the Citadel. Heh, I said I was going to play paragon, but its not like I could actually play a renegade. Like, I'm too nice of a guy to be a dick to anyone. I'm just incapable of picking the jerky dialogue choices.

AC blather- Duh, I realized you don't actually need the recipe to craft a specific item. If you find out how to craft something, and you have the proper artisans at the right level and the requisite materials, you can just fill in everything manually. So I crafted large saddle bags, so now I can refill my inventory from any horsie.

I also finished all the privateer contracts, though not at 100% synch. Its like my ship is powerful enough that enemies aren't really a threat, its the pesky optional objectives that get me. Like having to ensure a certain number of allied ships survive, or the Giant and the Storm mission. In it, you face three Man-O-Wars, but to get 100% synch, you have to destroy them in a specific way, expose their weak point and then use the swivel cannon to blow of their powder stores once they're vulnerable. Unfortunately, my ship is a little too powerful, so it easy to kill them outright. Well, not outright, but its hard to hit them just enough to expose the stores, but not hard enough to kill them. Especially with the storm raging, as the giant waves block your shots, so its hard to tell how many times you've actually hit them.

But I do have a better hang of the ammo types- grapeshot for the smaller ships, hot shot for the bigger ships, to expose the weak points and shoot them with the swivel cannon, and chain shot is basically like an ion cannon- it tears down their masts to leave them dead in the water.

TV commentary:

Covert Affairs- I can't believe Annie didn't expect that! spoiler cut )

Person of Interest- Interesting, so this week's CotW (well, second CotW, since Miles from Lost was the firsT) was a lesbian married to another chick, and it wasn't a thing. Ida know, I just thought it was cool that these two chicks were married and the show treated them as they would a heterosexual couple. spoiler cut )

Last Resort- This Booth guy (if that is his real name) is telling the truth, that does make things interesting. spoiler cut )

Last Resort: What's with the ass-clown they sent to spy on Kendal's wife? He sucks! spoiler cut )

Person of Interest- Weird, so the Brazilian diplomat's daughter is Ezra's ex-fiancee on PLL (not to be confused with the girl he knocked up in high school, played by Larisa Oleynik). She looks younger here than she did on PLL. spoiler cut )

Last Resort- Not much to say about this episode, I did find the stuff with the French chick weird. spoiler cut )

Last Resort- I can't wait for them to kill that gangster guy. spoiler cut )

Ooh, Atlanta is one of the "select cities" getting Pitch Perfect early. So guess what I'm catching this weekend? Well, that and Looper.

TV commentary:

Last Resort- Finally caught this, even though the pilot had been available for the longest time now. Definitely an intriguing show so far. And holy cow, Autumn Reeser looked mad cute in this! Seriously, how awesome did her rack look in this? As for some non-superficial comments, I'll put those under a spoiler cut. spoiler cut )
