Finally got around to watching this Tuesday's Nip/Tuck. Man, I watch too much TV. Anyways, is it me, or was that one of the more disturbing eps of the series (well, I haven't actually watched the whole series, so mebbe there wre earlier eps that were more freaky), which is saying something given what a freaky show it can be anyways. spoiler cut )

Frickin' frick, is it really 0 degrees F out there?! What the frak, one of the advantages of the south was avoiding those kinda temps! I am not looking forward to walking to the East Interconnect to pick up stuffs or the SC to grab lunch.

Ooh, but I finally got the front door lock to stop sticking yesterday with a generous application of WD40. Now it works smoothly. Can you believe I was late to work (well, not technically late by their definition, but a few minutes later than 7am) a couple of times because I'd spend a couple of minutes trying to unlock the door, giving up, and just going through the garage?! Oh, and I fixed the resolution on the PS3. I knew the few times I saw things on blu ray on the ps3, it didn't look right. But when I was playing SCIV, I noticed the characters didn't look the way they did when I played it on the 360. So after tinkering around the menus, I set things to the right settings, and holy crap does the game look way improved. I mean, the detail is just incredible!

TV commentary:

Smallville- tonight's ep is the one with the Legion of Superheroes showing up. Well, just Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, and Lightning Lad, though they didn't use those names, they used their normal names. Surprisingly, they weren't too bad. Like I wouldn't mind seeing them show up again. I wouldn't even be averse to a team up between them and the young Justice League. Oh, but I didn't recognize Saturn Girl was being played by Jude from Instant Star at first. And then I realized the little tie in since she and Kara played sisters on that show.

Oh, and Allison Mack tends to be overlooked for the other chyx on this show, but she really should get more play than she does because she's actually mad cute. Spoiler Cut )

7A!!!

Heh, on the way to work, passing by the abortion protestors over at Governor's Ridge (I guess there must be a clinic in that complex, which is the same place I took my CCNA exam) one of them had an amusing sign that read "Be like Juno!"

What's with all the TV last night? NCIS, 90210, Privileged, 2 eps of Scrubs (now on ABC!), SVU, and Nip/Tuck. Thank goodness there weren't any new eps of House or Fringe. I only caught the CW stuff plus Scrubs and Nip/Tuck.

Oh, on the way to Junior's for breakfast, The Real Mccoy's "Sleeping With an Angel" came on the mp3 player, which I've said before will always be burned in my mind as the song that mad cute brunette chick danced to at the first strip club I ever went to. One thing I've never mentioned though is that she would leave her vest on (albiet opened). Which is kinda weird, because its not like its a costume, and the other chyx there took off everything. Mebbe she had like hideous scars on her back or something that she wanted to hide. I guess only D would possibly know.

Who writes a book about their life and uses the real names of people?! Whenever I'm writing anecdotes about my life, I use the aliases I have for everyone I know. Like here's one: High School regret )

And I still don't understand how one can forget to put their underwear on?! I mean, don't they notice things feel a little more light and breezy?!

Tried that place with the usual suspects. Alas, it was a comedy of errors that prolly has it blacklisted. Since we got back earlier than expected and I didn't want to drive all the way back home, went to work early and watched my shows in the breakroom before my shift started.

TV commentary:

I dunno, I'll have to admit, this current format of OTH of fast forwarding four years and constantly flashing back is holding my interest better had they just continued normally. I don't think I would've watched if they just did things in order. more One Tree Hill commentary )

Oh, and this is apparently my 2,475th post! 25 posts til 2500!
