Jul. 30th, 2014 10:01 amAnother year, another Femslash tournament on After Ellen. Is it weird, that me, a non-female, non-lesbian is into this sort of thing? Alas, I missed the first round.
While I'm disappointed Faberry didn't even make it past the first round this year, I'm pleasantly surprised that the choice are all actually shows I watch (well, except for Grey's and 2 Broke Girls). So none of the matchups are choices where I am invested in neither and just making a random choice. Indeed, a lot of them are things I actually do ship. So how did I vote this round?
Well, match ups 1 and 2 were obvious, of course I'm going to vote Rizzles and Swan Queen!
Sparia vs Emily/JJ? I went Sparia- I guess I just see it slightly more than Emily/JJ.
Matchup 4 obviously went to Katniss/Johanna.
I obviously voted Bechloe over Red Beauty for Matchup 5. I mean, sure, I like seeing the gifs and art of Red Beauty on my tumblr dash, but honestly, I ship Rumbelle more. And I actually do ship Bechloe.
Matchup 6 was a little harder than the others. I mean, unlike Sparia, Hannily actually seems like it could possibly become a thing. But I still think Myka should have ended up with HG on Warehouse 13. Well, the choice wasn't that hard, I'm just sad Hannily had to go up against HG/Myka.
Matchup 7, Skimmons obviously! Sorry, Jamie and Joan just didn't interact enough on Elementary for me to get behind them.
And for the final one, Marceline/Princess Bubblegum vs Janeway/7 of 9- Eh, I never got that vibe from Janeway and Seven of Nine. Though I always haven't seen Voyager in years and the eps I did see were before I became a ghey-ass shipper. And actually, I've only seen a couple of eps of Adventure time, and not any that even had either Marceline or Princess Bubblegum, but like Red Beauty, I do like the art of them that shows up on my dash, so I went with the former.
Interestingly enough, other than Sparia vs Emily/JJ which about 50/50, looking at the current vote totals, I apparently vote the way the majority does.

Teen Wolf- Not really a comment on this week's ep, just something in general. You know, I've seen his name in the credits multiple times, but I just realized Sheriff Stilinski is freaking Johnny Cage. And Peter Hale is young Hercules. Weird!!
