Finding Carter- Ha, is Lizzie oblivious? So apparently David knows all about his wife's affair with her ex-partner. He knew she was basically about to leave him before they found Carter, and he's realized they've started up again. So he's acting totally cold towards her and she's all, "Gee, why he's mad at me?" Really, even if you think you're hiding it well, you have to wonder if he knows. But she's all, that's an out of the blue occurrence!
But for a moment there, they remembered why they fell in love, why they were together. And Elizabeth was curled up in David's arms and he was happy to have his wife again. But then he notices her phone and Kyle calling. So once again he's pissed and dumps her ass on the couch. And what the frick, again, she's all, that was weird. Like you'd think she'd look at her phone and put 2 and 2 together.
Oh, and that would be insane if its true, but I know some people are reading into Lizzie being all, "You always did have a thing for brunette girls, I'm surprised you married me, a blond!" that he was having an affair with Lori, and that's why she's kinda nuts and obsessed with the family.
If it is true, that would make him a total a-hole! Particularly when he spent that one day with Carter and she was all, "I wish you met my mom, you two would really have hit it off!" and he was acting like he'd never been with her then.
And wow, David's agent is kinda scummy! So he gives David his first check from the new book, and David tells him his intention to divorce Lizzie and wants to shove the check in her face to show her she made a big mistake. So his agent is all, "well, I'm holding this check from you", because if he's now rich, then when they divorce she can take half of that. So his agent is all, divorce her first, then I'll give you your money!
But yeah, so Carter gets out of Max that Lori's in town. So, she asks Crash for help. But Crash is all, a cop is better at finding criminals, since that's their job, and that maybe she could catch more honey with flies than vinegar, and should start kissing Lizzie's ass. So, Carter asks Lizzie to take her to work, and they seem to have a lot of fun playing in the killhouse, battering down doors and playing paintball.
But then Elizabeth gets a call from work. So she goes to the scene, and Carter sees her first dead body, and is shocked to see Lizzie be so caring with the victim's wife, moreso when she finds out its said wife who killed him because he was an abusive scumbag. So she's all, "Oh, how do you choose which criminals you feel compassionate for and which ones you hunt down like animals?" Lizzie immediately realizes the question is about Lori, and she's a little hurt because she thought she could have one day without Lori being mentioned. But, she at least got to spend some time with her daughter, if only for a few hours, and she's eternally grateful for that.
Two things though, one, Carter is all, why do you hate Lori so much (gee, maybe because she kidnapped you when you were 3?) when she raised me well and made me the woman I am today? And Lizzie is all, "No, I saw the way you were when you were three! I knew you would turn out this way, even without her raising you!" Bullshit, no way you could tell she'd turn out like that from the way she was when she was 3. And they're talking like Carter is this great kid, but she's kinda a huge bitch!
And also, asking how Lizzie chooses which people she feels compassionate for? Gee, feeling compassion for a poor lady who was so abused that it drove her to kill her abuser, vs some crazy lady who kidnapped a three year old and took her away from her family for more than a decade? Gee, I wonder which person is more sympathetic!?
Anyways, so Carter goes to a party that night, to talk to Crash to see if he found out anything. So, she asks Taylor if she can use the car, and she's studying SAT vocabulary words with Max. Taylor has no use for a car Saturday night, since she's mostly a friendless loser, and then worries she's too boring for Max and he'd rather go to the party. And he would... with her!
So they all go, and after Crash lets Carter know he couldn't find anything and maybe she should use Max as a go-between, they play spin the bottle/seven minutes in heaven. And Carter rigs the game so it keeps on landing on Taylor to get her some experience. And so first Taylor gets with Ophie, who ends up being her first kiss. He teaches her well, and so when its her and Gabe up next, she's all over him. And now that douche finally see her for the cool chick she is and is all into her now.
Then, she finally gets with Max. Obviously, Max was totes jealous the whole time, seeing Taylor with Ophie and Gabe, and he wanted to be her first. Taylor was all, no, because she was totally inexperienced and he would've thought she was terrible. I'm surprised he wasn't all, "Not possible!" But they kiss and its good and he's all let's blow this place and go home so we have more than 7 minutes of make out time.
So they do, leaving Carter at the party. And ha, boo hoo on poor Carter not being the center of the universe for once. Bird takes Crash to the closet, where they start effing. Carter acts like she's not jealous, but you know she kinda is, even though Bird asked if it was okay for her to get with Crash. Then Gabe, who's been following her like a puppy since day one can't shut up about Taylor and wants Carter to tell her sister to call him.
When she does get home, she catches Taylor and Max making out. And you know that has to affect her. She tries talking to Grant about it, but earlier that day, she bumped into him talking to his cute little online friend and is all, "I didn't know you had a gf!" And he's all embarrassed and insists she's not, but after telling Carter how they talk for hours and all that, she's all, "Guess what, you like her!" So it motivates him to have a talk with this Regan girl to define what they are. And so, when she tries to talk to Grant, he apologizes, but he's video chatting with his gf and can they talk later?
So, she goes in her room to cry herself to sleep, and Elizabeth shows up, telling her Carter has no idea how much those few hours they spent having fun that day meant to her, and in the hopes of staying in Carter's good graces, she'll stop hunting Lori. And Carter is all relieved for Lori. But she doesn't even hug Lizzie or something. This is your real mother here, she's making real strides to win you love, and you don't even give her a crumb?!
But yeah, they finally show Lori as a total whack job. After Max leaves after making out with Tay, Lori confronts him. He's all, he doesn't want to be an accessory and even says he'll tell the family she's there. But then she disappears. Some people are worried that Lori is going to kill him, but she better not. That would just be too effin dark.
