Perception- Woah, who would've thunk? I didn't know Daniel was capable of being so devious! I mean, when he went to the hotel there at the end, I figured he was totally playing her. But usually you don't expect his character to be so lying and manipulative. I mean, doing the whole "Oh, I've fallen for you, so now I want to help you escape justice!" Which, okay, she is kinda narcissistic if she thought she got this guy she just met to throw away his whole career and help her escape a theft/murder rap (well, presumably she would be charged with some responsibility of the death, since if she hadn't manipulated her ex-bf, those two guys wouldn't have died).
But yeah, I was confused for a second there, when he was kissing her and all, "I'm dropping everything, lets go!" Because for a moment I was wondering, "Wait, is he not faking?" Like he already got her to admit to the whole conspiracy, why hasn't Kate busted in yet. Why does he have to walk her out? But then when she went to the bedroom to get her suitcase, I was all, "Duh, because they had to confirm where the painting was!"
I mean, it was still confusing because Kate could've busted in previously since the lady admitted her part on all this, which presumably would be enough to get a warrant to search the hotel room and they would've found the painting. But I guess they didn't know the painting would be there and were hoping if it wasn't, she would lead Daniel to it before they fled.
Which, did she have real feelings for him? I mean, they did seem to really connect, and him coming to her place the previous night (which speaking of, would that cause issues with the case that he slept with her?), its not like she even thought she was a suspect anymore. Was she legit about running away to Italy with him, or was she just going to betray him once they left the country, and she was just using him to get away?
But is Kelly Rowan off the show? I mean, if him growing as a character and becoming more well is tied to him not seeing Natalie anymore, then shouldn't he not see her anymore? I suppose he could have relapses. Or are they going to go the route where he needs to be a little nuts to be able to help solve crimes?
