Relink! [livejournal.com profile] clevemire posted this in the comments section of my last post. But those of you who didn't read those comments (as it would reveal the answer), looking at the pic in that link, 1) would you think they were in costume had you not known they were cosplaying and 2) what characters do you think they are supposed to be? I don't think its ojv('Man, its obvious!') as he claims.

Ah, and the roomie figured out what that whole white powder thing was the other day. It has something to do with the Hash House Harriers? The about page calls it a mixture of "hedonism and hard work". And I suppose all hedonism really means is seeking pleasure as your main goal in life, but I'm guessing they have a totally different definition of hedonism than I do.

90210- What's with all these shows playing the Plain White T's "1, 2, 3, 4" just because its the week before Valentine's Day? Okay, mebbe just this show, and the promos for ABC Fam's various primetime dramas. spoiler cut )

Privileged- Ah, so according to the promos for the next ep, its the season finale? I guess they do have to make room for Reaper when it returns. Speaking of, I guess Scrubs is moving to Wednesdays come March? That's good. There's nothing on Wednesday's but Lost, so I'm glad something is moving off the Monday/Tuesdays of TV watching insanity. spoiler cut )

Ah, those Thai! Filmdrunk has a trailer for this movie Fireball up. Apparently, its a movie about some dude who's brother is in a coma and needs an expensive operation, so to get the money, he plays the VERY GAME THAT PUT HIS BROTHER IN A COMA! mnsv('What a twist!') And what is this game? Its like underground basketball, where there doesn't seem to be any dribbling, but you're allowed to pull off Muay Thai moves on your opponents or pull out a sword and stab them in the gut. There also seems to be a lot of parkour (though not in the game), as modern action moves are wont to do. But its called fireball, and the ball is not even on fire! cliffV('What's up with that?!')

Cool, I didn't realize Fox stopped doing that stupid 8 day crap to watch their shows online. So now I can watch the current weeks ep off Fox or Hulu. And CBS seems to be having issues, half the time I try to watch HIMYM or NCIS, it has trouble loading or whatever. Like today, when I tried to watch NCIS. But fancast had the ep up. All in all, convenient, that's less I have waiting for me on the DVR, which equals more naptime! Alas, Leverage is only showing off the TNT site, which does do the week back thing. Looks like Nip/Tuck is also a week back on Hulu. But its prolly not the kinda show I wanna be watching here anyways.

Quick TV commentary:

90210- That scene with Adrianna getting the pity valentine's flower from some random teacher, isn't that CCV('Inappropriate!')? I mean, I think its fine for like a grammar school teacher to give some loser kid such a thing to make him or her feel better for not getting anything because they're a big loser, but you can't do that in high school! It might be viewed as impropriety! And you'd think the teachers at West Beverly would be particularly wary since Mr. Matthews got in trouble for dating that narc (though no one knew she was a narc at the time).

But ah, that post I made a few weeks ago about what kinda sniper rifle Jack was using on 24, I'm not the only one who though it was an Ashbury International Assymetric Warrior rifle. The imfdb (you know, the internet movie firearms database) has it listed as the weapon he used.

Again, that's kinda overkill! I mean, its a precision weapon, something you'd use to make kills on both soft and hard targets at ranges from 700 meters onward. The situation he was in, he'd prolly be better off using like a M110 SASS or some other SR-25 derivation. I mean, its very accurate, especially under 200 meters, and the urban settings he'd encounter on 24 all have engagement ranges way less than that. Plus, its semi-auto. The bolt-action is neccesary to increase the accuracy at the long ranges, but again at the short ranges Jack would be at, the loss in accuracy from a semi-auto is nil, but he gets the ability to make rapid follow-up shots. Which given he was covering Tony from several men, is what you think you'd want from a sniper rifle in that particular sitch. ojv('man, its obvious!')

And I'm always linking to lists about hottie chyx, here's one for the ladies, TWoP's "Rating TV's most eligible bachelors". Which according to them is:

- Peter Petrelli from Heroes
- Gregory House from House
- Sawyer from Lost
- Lee Adama from BSG
- Tim Riggins from FNL
- Barney Stinson from HIMYM
- McSteamy from Grey's Anatomy
- Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl
- Bret Michaels from Rock of Love (really?)
- Chuck Bartowski from Chuck
- Daniel Meade from Ugly Betty (I can never see this guy without thinking "The Gregster")
- Clark Kent from Smallville
- Patrick Jane from The Mentalist (Do chyx really dig Simon Baker? He always looked kinda weird to me)
- Sam Winchester from Supernatural (Not Dean?)
- Michael Scott from the Office
- Jack Bauer from 24
- Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory
- Jack Donaghy from 30 Rock

Oh, and I would think they'd pull those Chris Brown Doublemint Gum commercials given what he did to Rihanna. I mean, I think smacking around your gf is way worse than smoking pot, and look what happened to Phelps! Okay, never mind, they supposedly have, but I'm sure I saw the commercial last night.

And what kind of movie is Inglorious Basterds supposed to be? I thought it was a comedy, but from the new trailer I guess its a dark action comedy? Actually, I didn't know anything about this film, but I guess it is a Tarantino flick, so that does kinda make sense.
