Wait, the English pronounce Hyundai differently?! Why?! Given the word is foreign to both Americans and English, shouldn't there be one, proper pronunciation, however they pronounce it in Korean? I mean, I actually don't know the proper pronunciation, because even in America, I've heard both Hun-day and Hun-die. But then I was watching some British thing, and they say Hi-un-die!

TV commentary:

White Collar- Is it me, or does Mircea Monroe look way hotter with the glasses?

I really need to start watching stuff in my netflix queue. Here's what's in there currently:

God Bless America
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (the original one)
The Girl who Played with Fire
The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
True Grit (the new one)
Hobo With a Shotgun
The Horde
Rampage
13 Assassins
Corpse Princess
Winter's Bone
18 to Life (that short lived show with Derek from LWD and Ellie from Degrassi)
Bunraku
District 13: Ultimatum
Ong Bak 3
Dear Lemon Lima
Lo
Geek Charming

That's too big of a backlog, I need to get cracking.

Okay, heh, this is amusing, the 10 Best D&D alignment charts. The Big Lebowski one is hilarious, though I'm surprised at the Dr. Who alignment chart and 10th being Chaotic Evil. I guess if they had to fit the various Doc Whos into an alignment chart, he would be the closest to that. Of course, I only know Nine and Ten since I've only seen the new series.

TV Commentary:

Community- Ah, this ep and last week's ep were out of order, that makes sense. Anyways, call me lame, but I always like when they have Jeff and Annie interact. Its definitely on my list of favorite non-canon ships on TV (along with Dair, Zutara, and Dasey. I am such a fag). And apparently I'm not the only one, I didn't realize a significant part of the fanbase who would "ship" favor such a pairing.

The Office- Heh, with Jim and Pam married with a kid now, are they having Andy and Erin picking up the slack now? spoiler cut )

Speaking of "hinkey" apparently its not a real word. But I use it all the time. A discussion with my co-workers shows its apparently from the Fugitive. And used in NCIS a lot, which is prolly why I use it a lot. That makes sense, because Tony is a big fan of movies, particularly the Fugitive.

You know your car is old and cheap when you get your tag renewal in the mail and the fee is only $20.

On the way to work, picked up some candy from Publix. We never get trick or treaters at the house, but I'd rather have some on hand just in case. I'd feel bad if someone did show up and I had nothing to give them. Yeah, there's that weird rule about the porch light, but what if they (like I was, for the longest time) were totally unaware that no porch light on means no candy?

So I was on fan-fiction.net looking up to see if there were any new Dair fics, given this past ep of Gossip Girl totally lends itself to such fiction. And this whole time, I'd been looking up the Gossip Girl book section rather than the Gossip Girl TV section. But the majority of the stuff in the book section is based on the TV version of the characters! WTF?! More of me acting like a teenage girl )

Owel, some TV commentary:
