So the third of the wolverine spots came out during AI last night (which I don't watch, so thankfully its available online. First spot is here, second one here, third one here.) Okay, so I recognize Taylor Kitsch as Gambit, Not-Dane Cook as Deadpool sans mask (I guess Ryan Reynolds is wise-cracky enough), and Will.I.am as John Wraith. I assume the brunette is Silver Fox (it looks like the actress playing her, but that's the one thing that always confused me, how can she both be on the team, and her murder be one of the acts that precipitates Wolverine joining the Weapon X program?!), and had to look up the Eurasian dude being Maverick/Agent Zero (isn't he supposed to be German). Cyclops was obvious (how the hell does that fit in with the X-men movies, since it didn't seem like they knew each other previously in those). I'm guessing the big, strong guy is Blob, even though he's not a fattie, but I guess Vinnie Jones was Juggernaut even though he wasn't nearly as big as Juggernaut is supposed to be (and VJ is a big dude too, its just Juggernaut is that much bigger. His name is friggin Juggernaut!) and the diamond girl is White Queen (I saw her on the imdb listing). She seems even more out of place than Cyclops! Especially since they're giving her her diamond form mutation. But I guess they take liberties.

Even though I've been babbling about the Wolverine movie, I'm still more egg-cited about the Watchmen. (Ain't It Cool has a couple of clips as well as links to clips if you are so inclined)

TV commentary:

I was a little confused by the ending of NCIS. I know the innocent guy Tony sent to jail set up the real culprits. But I'm guessing he also figured out where the money was, and that scene in the airport was Tony figuring out the guy was going to the Caymans to collect, and feeling bad for sending the guy to jail, let him go. Letting him go, fine. But isn't that money he's going to recover money that was EMBEZZLED from the US Navy?! Regardless of Tony feeling guilty for what he did, that money doesn't belong to the guy! Even if he originally got convicted of its embezzlement!

On Secret Life, it was kinda hilarious to see Adrian all confused when he stepbrother took her on a date. I mean, I guess she is the school slut, but the whole movie and a dinner thing instead of the straight to sex seemed to confound her. But its cool since hopefully this means she's getting out from under Ricky's thumb. Not that he's purposely putting her under his thumb, but it kinda pisses me off that she pretends she's not in love with Ricky, when she totally is, even though he treats her as his eff-buddy. Grace, on the other hand, is retarded, just like her mongoloid adoptive brother.

Ricky tanks the adoption, but the gay guys were all, the adoption was just a consolation prize anyways, they wanted something to replace the foster kids that were taken from them just because they were gay. Gee, I wonder who they could be? There's only one set of kids on the show who have no parents. Could Jack's mentee and his sister be those kids? But getting back to Ricky, he's really going after Amy now? You think his therapist would be work harder on showing Ricky what a moron he is being.

On Kyle XY, I know Kyle and Amanda are supposed to be the OTP of this show, but I dunno, I'm kinda rooting for Jessi. Yeah, she messes up a lot, but she's misunderstood. And she just looks so sweet and earnest, even when she's frakking up.

I'm curious if Kyle is staying with Latnok given its not mad scientists poking and prodding him, but him hanging out with kids almost as smart as him coming up with cutting edge developments. I'm sure there really is a sinister side to all of it. It sounds like the parentals aren't too happy with him joining Latnok to pay for Nicole's bills (I've never stated this before, but is it me, or is she pretty MILFy?) and he's not too happy about being in Latnok, but at the end their, it seems like he thinks they're not too bad. Or at least the other kids aren't. And what's with him telling Mark to tell Lori. Not that he shouldn't. But shouldn't he also mention it to Stephen also?! Yeah, Lori and Mark are dating, but Mark is Stephen's TA. Shouldn't he know his TA was possibly a spy?

On SVU, my mind is kinda blown. Are schools really cool with having transgender kids nowadays? I mean, I myself don't have a problem with it, but I can't imagine there being more incidents than they mentioned. Or other parents complaining or wot-not. Mebbe the world has evolved some, but I didn't think it was that accepted!

Interesting ep of Leverage. So we finally meet Nate's wife Maggie (played by that chick, Kari Matchett, who's guested in several shows I watch). Even if she didn't know Locke's dad denied the surgery to Nate's son, she still seems pretty well adjusted compared to Nate. I mean, you would hardly think she had a son, much less one who died of a horrible condition her boss refused to pay for. And given how much Sophie did know of Nathan, how did she not know what Maggie looked like already?

And the first ep established that the team were people he hunted at one time or another. Given he worked for Locke's dad, wouldn't he be familiar of the team? I mean, they're supposed to be some of the cream of the crop of the thieving world. I would think Nate wouldn't be the only one in the company who knew their reputation. Or was Romo working on Locke's dad's orders, and thus Locke's dad was only playing along this whole time to really get both Davids? I couldn't tell if it was a trap from the get go, like revealing the one David, that they knew Sophie (or is it Jenny?) would try to make a play for it since she had the other. Or if Romo was all, "hey, its those people!" and ascertained that Sophie was making a play for the other David and then came up with a plan to trap them all.

Speaking of Sophie's plan, if they did go along with it, wouldn't Nate's wife be ruined also? They wanted to make it so when he had both Davids, they would expose them both as fakes, but given Nate's wife was the authenticator, if it put all Locke's dad's acquisitions into question, wouldn't it put her into question as well?

Again, I couldn't tell when Romo knew it was a setup, or if Locke's dad was playing along the whole time, but what kind of piss poor guard does he have?! I mean, the Parker/Hardison fake make out trick. Yeah, the guards figured out it was just them leaning against the door during the make out session, but wouldn't they escort them away and WATCH THEM CLOSE THE DOOR instead of being all, "Carry on!" Same for their trick to get past the pressure sensor on the statue. The room had like a bunch of guards just standing around. Even if they saw all the car alarms go off and it was possibly a mini-quake, shouldn't they check it out anyways! If it had happened several times before, maybe, but why are they so lax?!

And at the airport, when Hardison played both the FAA guy and the shiek, wouldn't the pilots think it was kinda weird for him to all of a sudden put on a hood as he walked out of the plane?! Anyways, I did think it was cool at the end, since Romo had captured Hardison and Parker and knew how everyone else thought, Nate came up with the Hardison and Parker way of doing things since Romo wouldn't expect that since he had those two. Speaking of ways of doing things, the fight Eliot had, was he purposely taking his time until he had hit that same spot enough times to bust the guy's rib and puncture his lung? And how lucky was that guy that he managed to hit Eliot the right way to knock his earpiece out so he couldn't warn the others? Or did the guy do a move that purposely knocked out the earpiece?

So they Hardison blows up their HQ (but not before taking that weird Nate painting, heh), but what did Romo mean he had their money? I would think those are all squared away in accounts he should not know about!

I had the same thought about Sophie's plan effing over Nate's ex. But more importantly, is this show by the same producers are burn notice or the same casting company or what? It was weird having the two main guest stars from a Burn Notice episode both show up on leverage a few days later.
