Behaviors of mine that people think are weird and crazy but I think make sense: Putting my radio station presets in ascending order. i.e. preset 1 is the lowest station, preset 2 the next one in the band and so forth. So yes, that does mean if I find a new favorite in between two presets I shift the presets around so they're in order. I don't see what the problem with that is! I think this way its easier to remember which preset is which. I think people who haphazardly just put any station on whatever button are the crazy ones. Its so unordered! Like I'll fiddle with the radios on the vans in the motor pool, and I'll press one and its 105.7, and then 2 is like 93-something, but then three is 104.whatever, and like how can you stand the stations not being in order!?

So ha, this is kinda funny since this past Cleveland Show was just about this, but I guess the Biebster has that new "Boyfriend" song out. (I was only aware of it because a couple of youtube musicians I follow did covers of it) But ha, yeah, I get a kick out of the whole "Say hello to falsetto, in three, two..." and then he goes into a higher voice to sing the refrain. HA, because singing what you're about to do in a song is always amusing.

So anyways, apparently Dramatech is doing a production of Rent starting Friday. So I did tweeted one of those tweets that also posts on fb about how the dramatech folks were just handing out fliers. Which is no way to advertise a musical. I say, they should be out there breaking into "Seasons of Love" in the Skiles Walkway, because that would be totally awesome. So [livejournal.com profile] psyched_out's wife was all, "what's this about Rent?" and "SVP" and I was wondering what SVP meant.

M&M let me know it meant "sil vous plait", which is French for "if you please". And then mentioned that's what the SVP in RSVP stood for. Ha, that makes total sense, I never knew that! I mean, I've heard people say "sil vous plait" (but not seen it shortened to SVP in text form), so I never put that together with RSVP. So I was telling them, the people telling you to RSVP are trying to be all, "respond please". But if it literally translates to "Respond if you please", that's something totally different! Because often times I don't please, because I'm kinda lazy.

But cool, Shelby is coming out with a "Shelby 1000"? Although 1000 is twice 500, I don't think its twice as powerful as a Shelby GT500. But at 950 horsepower, that's still damn powerful. You know, if I was going drop a couple hundred grand on a car, I'd rather do it on American muscle than some European thing. (Of course, I'm sure [livejournal.com profile] clevemire is prolly aghast at dropping that kinda money on any car, because to him cars are nothing more than conveyances)

So they posted the the 1st annual tumblr TV award winners. The results: under the cut )

Heh, I'm amused Glee was voted best Teen show AND worst show. And hey, Faberry wins again for best couple! Seriously, with all the polls they've won recently, people are seriously fanatical about Quinn and Rachel. Quinn also won hottest TV female character, which given the competition in the final round included Amy Pond, is a little silly. Hey, I like Quinn and all, especially with the shorter hair (and even more especially when it was pink), but hotter than Amy Pond?

But ugh, Chuck Bass as best male character?! Though it looks like Sherlock was the big winner, what with the show getting the best drama and "best show ever" awards, as well as the best cast and fandom ones. Sherlock himself got the hottest male character award, Molly getting best female character, and Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freedom picking up the outstanding lead and supporting actors in a drama, respectively.

TV commentary:

New Girl- CeCe's Harold and Kumars are great. Also, Winston singing along to the Wicked soundtrack? Awesome! And could Haverchuck be any more douche-y looking in this ep?
