TV commentary:

Community- Hey, its Jo from Scrubs (wait, what the hell was her actual name?)! It took me a second to figure it out though since she had the sunglasses on (and kept them on the entire ep) but then I remember her tweeting about being in an upcoming ep of Community. Wonder if this was just a one-shot, or if we'll see her again, given the whole thing with Abed.

And weird, did they do some weird math, or did they make Jeff younger? That one tape, which Annie said was from '97, had Jeff saying he was 19, so he's only 33 right now? I thought he was supposed to be older than that? Or are they retconning things since Jeff and Annie have an undeniable chemistry, and its less creepy if there's only a 13 year age difference as opposed to a 16-17 year one?

30 Rock- Heh, when they first showed the grand-daughter, I was thinking, she kinda looks like Hit Girl, but that would be weird for them to have her guesting. But it was Chloe Moretz! (Speaking of, I finally saw Let Me In this past weekend. Weird, apparently the American remake didn't actually change anything, I could've sworn I read somewhere it did, unless I switched universes again) She's starting to look more teen than kid now though(which is no surprise since she just turned 14), will she be too old to play Hit Girl in Kick Ass 2?

Vampire Diaries- An ep full of shocks and surprises, as per usual. spoiler cut )

So the latest Glee music pre-releases are out. There's "Landslide", and the two original songs.

Landslide- So, this is being done by Gwyneth Paltrow, who's reprising her role as Holly Holliday, and apparently Santana too? Apparently Stevie Nicks went to the set to observe their performance, I guess to make sure they were doing it right or something? Although this sounds more like a cover of the Dixie Chicks' version as opposed to the Stevie Nicks original.

You can hear the new original songs here.

Get It Right- The first of the original songs, this is a Rachel song. I think it sounds pretty nice, it suits her voice quite well.

Loser Like Me- The second song is a group number, very 90s bubble gum pop sounding, along the lines of S Club 7. Its okay, kinda catchy.

TV Commentary:

Transformers: Prime- You know, I liked their character design for Wheeljack, a definite homage to the original G1 design. Though it was weird they gave him a radically different personality. The original character was a mad scientist type, this one is a bad-ass warrior with twin swords.

Smallvillee- You know, this season had been decent at points in the last few months, but these past few eps have just been ridiculous. I mean, Zatanna sends them a magical bottle of wine and its like the frickin' Hangover movie, where they wake up the next morning, with no memory of the night before, and find they did all this crazy stuff? (They as in Clark, Lois, Chloe, Ollie, Tess, and Emil) And Tess and Emil made a sex tape?!

Fringe- Ah, this ep sheds some interesting light on the past. spoiler cut )

Degrassi- In Bianca's defense, she was trying. Plus, who is Jenna to talk, given she stole her current baby daddy from someone herself. At least Bianca did it to someone who's a stranger. Claire was supposed to be Jenna's friend.

Of course, while I'm fine with Bianca being given a redemptive arc, couldn't they have had the guy she was involved with be someone else? I mean, it kinda undercuts Drew's character that he would get with her since she basically freaked out on his brother for being a transgender and threatened to kill him. Sure, she's cute and easy, and his a teenage boy, but what she did to Adam should've cemented her to being on his shit list. Of course, I don't remember the last time they even acknowledged Adam and Drew were step-brothers.
