Transformers: Prime- You know, I liked their character design for Wheeljack, a definite homage to the original G1 design. Though it was weird they gave him a radically different personality. The original character was a mad scientist type, this one is a bad-ass warrior with twin swords.
Smallvillee- You know, this season had been decent at points in the last few months, but these past few eps have just been ridiculous. I mean, Zatanna sends them a magical bottle of wine and its like the frickin' Hangover movie, where they wake up the next morning, with no memory of the night before, and find they did all this crazy stuff? (They as in Clark, Lois, Chloe, Ollie, Tess, and Emil) And Tess and Emil made a sex tape?!
Fringe- Ah, this ep sheds some interesting light on the past. Wow, the normal universe's Bishops are kinda a-holes. I mean, not only were Walter's experiments to unlock Liv's powers kinda messed up, so was the whole thing where they kept telling Peter he's remembering things wrong because of his sickness.
And is the alt-universe less skeptical than ours? I mean, Walternate's son disappears, and his wife thought it was a man who looked just like Walternate who took him? And the media didn't crucify them over such a flimsy story? It was interesting that they showed Walternate not knowing that Peter had been kidnapped to another universe until young Olivia accidentally crossed over.
That was pretty neat, that, being stressed out over having to go back home to her abusive stepdad, Olivia accidentally crossing over, and cried to what she thought was Walter about her stepdad smacking her around. Then she mentioned traveling to "the other universe" (not realizing she was there) with the blimps in the sky before flitting back to her own universe. And thus Walter learned what happened and started the ball rolling on this war. Again though, I'm shocked that that world believed such a crazy story. But I guess once all those horrible things started happening over there, it was easier to convince the world.
Oh, and amused that not only do they have the normal credits and alternate credits, they also re-used the "old-style" credits since this ep took place in the past.
Degrassi- In Bianca's defense, she was trying. Plus, who is Jenna to talk, given she stole her current baby daddy from someone herself. At least Bianca did it to someone who's a stranger. Claire was supposed to be Jenna's friend.
Of course, while I'm fine with Bianca being given a redemptive arc, couldn't they have had the guy she was involved with be someone else? I mean, it kinda undercuts Drew's character that he would get with her since she basically freaked out on his brother for being a transgender and threatened to kill him. Sure, she's cute and easy, and his a teenage boy, but what she did to Adam should've cemented her to being on his shit list. Of course, I don't remember the last time they even acknowledged Adam and Drew were step-brothers.
