So whenever I have a pen and paper in my hands, I wish I wasn't compelled to draw a bunch of guns on it. (Or any other drawing surface. I mean, quickly and immediately drawing a MAC-10 with suppressor is almost a reflex, I should really break that habit. But it only takes a few seconds for me to quickly draw that or a mini-Uzi somewhere on the paper. But if there's space, and I have time, like during a meeting or lecture, I start doing more- usually some sort of Glock, a Beretta 92, a Colt M1911, and a Remington 870 shotgun with the forearm flashlight. I used to do an M4, but I've since switched to the HK-416. Same with the USAS-12 automatic shotgun, I've upgraded to the AA-12. Occasionally I'll do a bolt action sniper rifle that I intend to be an M24, but unlike the other weapons, I'm not sure how accurate it actually is.

I should either stop, or expand my repertoire. I've been working on trying to do a MK48 Mod 0 Machine gun off the top of my head, I usually need a pic up to do it well.

TV commentary:

True Blood- You know, I've always found it silly when a vampire show has the "vampires can't enter a house or apartment unless they're invited in" rule and the vampires have the glamering ability (True Blood, Vampire Diaries) but the vamps are allowed to just glamer the person answering the door into inviting them in. I mean, I have no problems with a vamp being able to jedi mind trick someone, or a human being able to run into a house and not be followed in. But its a pretty pointless defense then if its very easy for the vamp to just make you let them in! I mean, trick them without glamering them, or get them to step outside and then be able to glamer them, but I say its kinda cheating if a vamp can just mind control you through the doorway.

Also, I have some proclivities that some would consider messed up, but even I have my limits. Like its well known I'm not a fan of back mess. Nor barf. But who is? These things have no place in such activities. But I digress. Seriously, there's rough, and there's messed up! ( spoiler cut )

Looks like the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 is out. So that's this November, and part 2 is July of next year. So I've gotten past the Lost finale, now these two movies need to happen before I can be okay with the world ending. Well, I'll never actually be okay with the world ending, but I'd be less pissed about it. In any case, thinking about that last HP book, I'm kinda curious where the movies will split. For the life of me, I can't think of where a good place for the first movie to end and the second movie to begin, but maybe I don't know the last book as well as I should.

TV Commentary:

Secret Life- As I've said before, it really surprises me how many people actually guest star on this show. Particularly when they play radically different characters. Like its weird to see Adrian's mom as Boris' Cuban doctor chick on Royal Pains, but its totally jarring for Pam on True Blood to be Jack's mom. I mean, from snarky bi-sexual vamp chick to religious mother?
