Kaiser's whole being able to view your test results online is interesting. I mean, there's a lot of stuff I can't make sense of (without googling, but even then I'd wait for the doctor's final analysis), but it does flag when things are wrong, so I can at least get a general idea of whether the test went well or not.

TV commentary:

Vampire Diaries- every week this show makes me eat my words (in regards to proclaiming the show was bland after watching the pilot). As I've said before, its refreshing to see stuff actually happen. Instead of dragging out about whether X will learn about Y, where they dance around and tease until they finally find out during sweeps, the secrets get revealed pretty fast on this show. And that's fine, because then there's some new crazy and amazing new twist that comes up. And not in a unlikely, nonsensical, out of left field, soap opera-ish (or 24-ish way), but legitimate reveals that are surprising and intriguing but still make sense with respect to the greater story. Of course, one will have to see how this pace will hold up when the show gets renewed and they have another season (I assume it is, if it already hasn't been, because I think its one of the CW's higher rated shows), and they run out of things to do. But for now, the season is definitely a great ride.

Awesome, while there are only 30 second samples of the rest of the Glee Madonna songs out currently, I didn't realize they had the entirety of Like A Prayer out to preview. Its pretty amazing, and seems to be the most diverse of the songs they've done as it seems to showcase more of the members in solos than any of the other songs up to this point. But yeah, I like the big ensamble numbers like these (this, Don't Stop Believin', Somebody To Love, Keep Holding On, You Can't Always Get You Want) they always sound incredible. Closely following those are the Lea Michele solos. People sometimes complain why she seems to get the lion share of songs, but with a voice like that, why wouldn't they give her more songs?!

Speaking of show choir, even though my singing is only passable, and I could do to sing louder, it is sad I didn't discover a joy of singing until later in life. I mean, if I had to do high school again, I definitely would try out for show or jazz choir or what have you. Maybe I'd sound better today if I had more practice like that back then. Of course, I'm also lazy. After all, I could try out for church choir (preferably one of the folk groups), but even though I make time to go to mass every Sunday and set aside time for daily prayers (is it me, or do my posts often seem like they're written by entirely different people?) I just don't feel like I can commit the additional amount of time needed for that.

Oh, but getting back to Madonna, I've never found her all that hot, but I've always liked her music. But people not liking her music? cliffV('What's up with that?!') Like, what's wrong with you?!

TV commentary:

10 Things- I guess its time to start thinking of the show as its own continuity and is going off in a radically different direction from the movie. spoiler cut )
