Awesome, while there are only 30 second samples of the rest of the Glee Madonna songs out currently, I didn't realize they had the entirety of Like A Prayer out to preview. Its pretty amazing, and seems to be the most diverse of the songs they've done as it seems to showcase more of the members in solos than any of the other songs up to this point. But yeah, I like the big ensamble numbers like these (this, Don't Stop Believin', Somebody To Love, Keep Holding On, You Can't Always Get You Want) they always sound incredible. Closely following those are the Lea Michele solos. People sometimes complain why she seems to get the lion share of songs, but with a voice like that, why wouldn't they give her more songs?!

Speaking of show choir, even though my singing is only passable, and I could do to sing louder, it is sad I didn't discover a joy of singing until later in life. I mean, if I had to do high school again, I definitely would try out for show or jazz choir or what have you. Maybe I'd sound better today if I had more practice like that back then. Of course, I'm also lazy. After all, I could try out for church choir (preferably one of the folk groups), but even though I make time to go to mass every Sunday and set aside time for daily prayers (is it me, or do my posts often seem like they're written by entirely different people?) I just don't feel like I can commit the additional amount of time needed for that.

Oh, but getting back to Madonna, I've never found her all that hot, but I've always liked her music. But people not liking her music? cliffV('What's up with that?!') Like, what's wrong with you?!

TV commentary:

10 Things- I guess its time to start thinking of the show as its own continuity and is going off in a radically different direction from the movie. I mean, while Kat and Patrick are similar to their movie counterparts, that ulterior motive of Patrick taking her out because of Joey and Cameron doesn't exist here. So its more your traditional idealistic hippie goody goody girl and the bad boy who thinks he's so effin' cool courtship story, without the whole "secret plan" lying their in the background ready to ruin things if Kat finds out. So their relationship hinges totally on them and their behaviors/actions rather then it being based on a layer of lies and the potential for betrayal happening.

As for the Cameron-Bianca-Joey triangle, I've said it before and I'll say it again, TV Joey is so not movie Joey. I mean, you can actually root for Joey and Bianca in this. Even this ep, where it seems like he's a douche because he acts all weird once he finds out Bianca's a virgin, he redeems himself in the end by saying he was just freaking out because he was thinking they were on an R level rather than a PG one, but he just had to take a little time to shift to a PG mindset. And that's totally fine with him, he's okay with waiting until she's ready.

Heh, the whole Chastity and Cameron thing, I wouldn't mind them exploring it a little further. I don't think they would actually work out as a couple, but I think it would be amusing to see them navigate it, and it has the potential to mess with Joey and Bianca's heads and keep that relationship from getting stale with the viewers.
