(no subject)

Just spent a lazy day at home today, because its friggin cold out there! But I did get recording in CDEX working on my parent's laptop (apparently vista has stereo mixer hidden and disabled). Oh, and I did beat SCIV with everyone on the 360 finally. But hey, I already bought up all the equipment, now that I've beaten it with everyone I can get all their weapons, thus completing the "get all arms and equipment" gamer achievement. And while I did get me brudder sparkyboy a wireless adapter for his 360 as an early Christmas present, haven't actually gotten any of the SCIV goodies like Vader or the new equipment yet.

Oh, but I did come up with a new equipment set for the Innocence CAS I had made. This one is somehow skimpier, yet actually more combat effective (att/def/life are all over 100%, plus enough skill points in the right areas to get decent skills). Also hanged from the black and pink color scheme to a black and gold one:

I think it looks better. And I've gotten more familiar with Ivy's moveset, so I can actually do decently well against the computer. One cool combo that seems to work is to do f, A+B, which sets up perfectly for her back throw. I haven't been utilizing the moveset to its full potential though, because there's just so much to know, between having different moves depending on whether her weapon is in the sword, whip, or coiled state (and there are a couple of additional stances as well!)

Its been a long day. Met up with zarathrustra94 and turdburgler in Manhattan. Hit South Street Seaport first, where we had lunch. Then walked up through the financial district, and saw the Stock Exchange (well, the outside). Also saw Ground Zero, which I hadn't yet been to even though its been like seven years.

We also went to the Empire State Building. It was quite chilly up on the observation deck. And what's with all the foreigners? Aren't there any American tourists?

Anyways, went to Grand Central Station afterwards. Since it was around 5, went to Willner's to see Mom so I could just go home with her and not have to walk all the way back from the station since Dad always picks her up. After C&T took their leave, waited downstairs and saw my former co-workers. Heh, there's a collage of pics on one of the walls of everyone (there's a couple of pics from me I guess from way back when), but there seemed to be far more of R than anyone else. Including one of her and the Rock from this past Summer. I guess he must've come into the store.

Owel, just having a nice long sit right now, because boy are my legs tired!
