geebsJust spent a lazy day at home today, because its friggin cold out there! But I did get recording in CDEX working on my parent's laptop (apparently vista has stereo mixer hidden and disabled). Oh, and I did beat SCIV with everyone on the 360 finally. But hey, I already bought up all the equipment, now that I've beaten it with everyone I can get all their weapons, thus completing the "get all arms and equipment" gamer achievement. sparkyboy a wireless adapter for his 360 as an early Christmas present, haven't actually gotten any of the SCIV goodies like Vader or the new equipment yet.
Oh, but I did come up with a new equipment set for the Innocence CAS I had made. This one is somehow skimpier, yet actually more combat effective (att/def/life are all over 100%, plus enough skill points in the right areas to get decent skills). Also hanged from the black and pink color scheme to a black and gold one:
Head: Headdress
Face: Spy Mask
Neck: Kitty Choker
Under: Tiger Lily Stockings
Upper: Dancer's Breastplate
Arms: Lily Armlets
Feet: Voodoo Greaves
I think it looks better. And I've gotten more familiar with Ivy's moveset, so I can actually do decently well against the computer. One cool combo that seems to work is to do f, A+B, which sets up perfectly for her back throw. I haven't been utilizing the moveset to its full potential though, because there's just so much to know, between having different moves depending on whether her weapon is in the sword, whip, or coiled state (and there are a couple of additional stances as well!)

Ah, I thought Mahone would end up being gone for a while since he was separated from the rest of them, but he hooked back up with Linc pretty quickly. So its those two, T-bag, Gretchen, and Self as the new team? While I'm surprised Self isn't dead yet (I guess his Homeland Security background gives him some skillz, plus the fake badge?), given what a meathead moron he is. But he did get some hilarious lines, like saying Mahone was his partner Bruce Liberace, and then when Gretchen almost betrayed him, when he went on that long rant where he just went through her family tree and called all of them whores ("you're a whore, your mom is a whore, and your father wasn't around because he was turning tricks at the gas station!" HA!)
Oh, but with Gretchen almost betraying them, and then getting shot, I guess she's off the team. That kinda sucks, because she's actually been pretty cool this season. Plus, with Sara with Michael (and it looks like they're setting up Linc vs Mikey?!) Linc's team is a total sausage fest now. Though I guess that's how it started.
But yeah, it was pretty obvious the buyer was their mom (It seems like they've done some major ret-conning? Like how the hell does the dad fit into all this?) Its like, hmm, they talk about the mom still being alive, and some mysterious woman shows up? I wonder who she is?! But the whole weird trying to convert Michael thing, I'm guessing the mom was a company woman, but broke off, and since Michael is as smart as her (or rather, she's as smart as him) they want him to take over what she did for the Company?
