Youtube wandering of the day: Decided to look up my high school alma mater, St. Francis Prep. (Woah, according to the wiki entry, Serpico was an alumnus. I did not know that! I also didn't realize our student body was considered big for a private high school. I guess 3000 is kinda big) Got some interesting results. Apparently, Prep has a kinda companion to Channel One, called Channel One and a Half, "a news program" for stuff specific to the school. Though I'm kinda confused why they had commercials for the cafeteria and gym. Like where else are you gonna eat lunch within walking distance?

Anyways, I remember them attempting such a thing back when I was attending, but it was pretty bad. I guess this is an improvement, comparatively.

Thursday night TV commentary:

And what's with Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk doing the vlogging thing?

Random internetting of the day:

- Empire's 50 Greatest TV shows of all time. list under the cut )

- This article off drunkenstepfather. As he says, the vid is indeed creepy. Its like out of a scene from SVU or one of those other crime procedurals, were they find the girl was putting naughty things up on the internet shortly before she went missing. Heh, though some of the creepiness might be because a crime procedural came on the TV in the background, and the creepy music from it synched up with the "sex offender about to attack and kill his victim" vibe there at the end.

- Another video, which is also creepy but in a different way, a bunch of different re-enactments of some obscure Full House scene where DJ gets mad at Uncle Joey and being all "You're not my father!". I don't get it!

- Not a creepy video, a youtube chick doing an acoustic version of Nickelback's "Savin' Me". Hey, I think its a hard song to do, so kudos to her. You don't want to hear me trying to sing the song.

- At dinner, the roomie expressed disbelief that I don't read the webcomic Questionable Content, as it seems like that kinda emo/romantic comedy/young adult drama stuff that's right up my alley. So, started reading through those.

- I posted about Dead Fantasy II the other day:

But its finally been uploaded in HD! (And holy crap, it looks frickin' amazing in HD!)

And woah, has Lethal Weapon always been kinda homophobic? I mean, there's the scene when the house blows up, and Riggs' jacket catches fire, and Murtagh tries to pat it out, and Riggs is all, "What are you, a fag?" Then there was the scene where they talk about how the dead girl in the beginning was with another chick before she died, and Riggs is all, "disgusting!" Thinking HLA is disgusting. cliffV('What's up with that?!')
