TV commentary-

True Blood- Interesting setup this episode. So they summon the faerie elder to get answers, but that's interrupted by Jason. Jess managed to get out of the Authority compound under the guise of turning Jason. Well, she wanted to warn Jason and Sookie, but Bill was all, we should let go of any human connections, as they're fleeting. So Jessica tries to play to his religious conversion, saying maybe she could turn Jason. Bill's no fool though, and sees through the deception and calls her bluff, sending her immediately to turn Jason, along with a couple of bodyguards with orders to turn him if she doesn't. But she manages to trick them into thinking she had started the turning process on Jason, distracting them long enough for Jason to shoot them with wooden bullets.

So he tells the rest of the Fae, and the elder wants to fight Russell. They purposely get Jason caught and glamered by Russell to get him to lead Russell to the glade. Heh, and she's all, I got this. She does manage to blast Steve, but Russell blocks her attack with Jason's body. Which gives him time to bite her and bleed her dry. Which lets him see the hidden club, and the ep ends with him seemingly ready to feast on all of them. Obviously, they're going to be fine, if Jason is spending the next ep storming the Authority.

Which, almost everyone's there. Turns out lame sheriff was the GCB vampire lady's progeny. So she comes looking for him, having sensed his death, but Pam takes the rap. She also takes back Jessica. Sam and Luna manage to get caught as well. Nora seems to have fallen out of the whole Sanguinista fervor after a few more visits from Godric, and she and Eric escape, but I'm sure they have a plan.

Alcide ends up fighting baby vamps. Which is interesting, because with the edict to make more vampires, the baby vamps have been gathering together into small packs and just causing havoc all over the world. Alcide rescues a neighbor, and he in turn is rescued by his father, who seems to have gotten out of the funk he was in, at least for now.

Oh, and that faerie chick Andy knocked up comes to him looking for protection. Of course, he doesn't understand any of that fae stuff, and doesn't understand he engaged in a binding contract with her. Since he has that thing with Holly, he doesn't want to mess that up, and as far as he knows, this lady is crazy because she's pregnant after a week and claiming Andy is the father. She declares war on Andy, whatever that means. I wonder if that will be addressed soon, or is it a plot for next season?

Warehouse 13- Heh, its Lassie and Captain Vick. Does this show do one ep a season with a pair of folks from other shows? There was the ep with Simon and Kaylee from Firefly, and the one with Jo and Zane from Eureka. Interesting, so they kinda answer the question I was curious about. They seem to imply the artifacts were imbued with power by something the original owner did. So all these items belonging to various famous people, it sounds like they have power having belonged to those people, not that those people became famous/legendary because the objects gave them powers.

At least Artie now knows the connection between Jinx and Claudia. And we get more confirmation that Mrs. Fredricks is quite old, as in addition to showing Claudia a moment where an artifact is made, he takes her to see her grandson. Who's in a nursing home.

Major Crimes- Hey, couple of cuties in this ep, Jenn Proske from Vampires Suck and Haley Webb from the Final Destination! The Jenn girl was blond in this ep, which is slightly disappointing, because she looks way hotter as a brunette.

Perception- Cool, the Stimulus Package girl with the nice rack is back. She should be around more, after all, it doesn't seem like too much time has passed on the show, so he should still be in the same semester and thus still have her as a student.

WO blather- more character commentary:

Orochi/Orochi-X: Obviously, being the bosses of the game, they're quite beastly. Orochi-X is definitely the more powerful one, but he has a smaller moveset than others. He only gets as high as a C4. Not that he needs that much else. And apparently he can't be hit out of attacks, so that means I don't need to use up one of his item slots for Iron Gauntlets.

Zhuge Dan: He's actually pretty good, mainly because of his R1 special. It summons a whirlwind shield around him, which you can stack. So you can put that up and just wade into the thick of it.

Magoichi: Ah, I can see how he ranks so low. The ranged weapon users definitely have disadvantages, particularly with keeping people off them. But he also has sucky weapon attribute activation. I'm not even sure which attack they activate off of! I guess brilliance will help, but it doesn't work on absorption/osmosis. Before I played him, I was going to give him osmosis since he's a wonder character. So I was trying to figure out what I needed to forgo, because it seems he definitely needed typhoon and echo to keep people off him and briliance to put a hurt on them. But since it doesn't seem like osmosis will get activated all that much, I don't see the point.

Huang Gai: Huh, I thought when they decloned the DW7 movesets in WO3, at least one person had the original moveset? Because I know Xu Zhu has some new moves, as he has the bouncing ball thing. But Huang Gai definitely doesn't have the normal club moveset. Is there another club user I'm forgetting about?!

Zhu Rong: She seems a tad safer than Yuanji, since her attacks aren't solely knife throwing. She does have a nice charge that's good for wading into enemies and I guess fighting you war out of trouble.

Ma Dai: Eh, he's not bad, but not particularly good either. His EX-attack is a little long, leaving him vulnerable, but luckily, he's a wonder character, so he can spirit charge out of it.
