geebsCommercial to currently complain about: That one insurance commercial, where the guy says he hired those middle school girls to insult him and make him feel gross whenever he tries to eat something fattening and unhealthy in order to save money. Its not actually saving him money, because they don't say "EW! Gross! That's disgusting!" until he's about to eat, which means HE ALREADY BOUGHT THE FOOD! So he's not saving money at all, in fact he's wasting it even more, because he spent the money to get the food, and now isn't going to even enjoy it!
TV commentary:
Happy Endings- Pretty hilarious episode. And also "Nooooo!"-worthy, when Dave idiotically missed on the 3 with the hot freaky-sex chick (played by that one nympho chick in the SVU episode with Jeremy Irons. The first one, not the one with Juliet from Lost) and her hot friend. Max kissing his ex (BTW, the line about the bears was actually pretty damn clever) at the end was a surprise- I mean, most shows on network TV have their gays rather chaste when it comes to the PDA. Particularly with homosexual men. I mean, its not even until a couple of gay guys on TV are seeing each other for a while before something happens. And here it happened so nonchalantly!
30 Rock- Is it me, or is Mary Steenburgen pretty hot for someone who's almost 60?!
Vampire Diaries- So, in the beginning, when Beks was stalking Elena, and Elena accidentally backed in to her, I don't know why I found Rebecca's "Drive much?" to her so hysterical.
Anyways, the first thing the Originals do is throw a fancy party on their estate. Doesn't Mystic Falls find all these parties and celebrations exhausting? And while I'm sure the mayor got a lot of the town involved with the setup since she wants to get ahead of this and keep the peace/protect the town, but its not like there was a lot of lead time. Where did everyone find the time to buy fancy dresses and suits? At least Caroline's dress from Klaus. Did Elena have a fancy ball dress like that just lying around?! The tailors/seamstresses in MF must make a killing.
So Finn is the loyal mama's boy, and Kol is the mischievous bad boy? But wow, how cold blooded is their mom? So she hasn't forgiven Klaus. Her plan to kill him, is to cast a spell using a drop of Elena's blood, to link the siblings to each other. That way, even though Klaus is unkillable, killing any of the Originals will kill all of them. So unbeknown to any of them (except Finn), they're all connected now.
Its still curious why Klaus is into Caroline all of a sudden. Are his feelings legitimate, or does he need her for something? I mean, he is kinda needy, but its weird how she got on his radar all of a sudden. At first, she wasn't taking what he was selling, but after she gives him a piece of her mind and he thanks her and draws her a picture of her and a horse, apparently that's enough to soften her towards him.
But wow, the Delena fans are pissed. First, they were mad Elena conspired with Stefan to temporarily kill Damon so she could talk to Esther. But what the hell, he's a vampire, its not like he wouldn't be all right later. And let's not forget he did that to Alaric. And Jeremy! And then when Damon drops the L-word to her, she's all "well who told ya ta!" instead of saying it back. I can tell you how many people I saw say "What a bitch! She should die!" on tumblr at the time. How do they expect her to react? She's still trying to process her feelings for Stefan and Damon. And lets not forget, while he has been trying to be a better man for her, its hasn't been that long ago when he was a murderous, evil bastard. She's not going to just jump on him because he says he loves her, after all he's done and with his brother making her all confused.
So he's reeling from her rejection in his usual way, getting drunk and going after hot trim. And what do you know, Beks is all hung up on Matt even though she was just trying to kill him (just to hurt Elena since she can't kill her), just because he was a little nice to her. But since Kol broke his hand, he's kinda fed up with her family, so he rejects her. So Damon and Rebecca totally do it.
But its not like Damon and Elena are together. What Elena should feel bad about is screwing over Elijah by lying to him about knowing what his mom's plan is. Yeah, the originals have screwed with her life royally, but he's been rather nice and civil to her for most of the time they've known one another. And he's totally falling for her because she rmeinds him of Tatia, isn't he?
Secret Circle- Holy cow, how hot was Diana looking tonight in her skimpy little PJs? I think she's totally underrated on this show- the guys are all after Cassie or Faye, but she's pretty hot herself. And ha, Faye is totally jealous of Diana and Melissa. But I guess they all made up in the end. I'd like to imagine their little pillow fight led to sexy results.
So Lee's gf isn't dead, she's in a coma. And he appears to be playing Faye, needing her in order to revive his gf. And wait, I know Adam and Cassie kissed a few episodes ago, but the last few eps, I didn't think they progressed to the point where they'd be getting all kissy and having romantic dinners (or attempting to).
