Baby, its cold outside! It was literally freezing out there this morning. Bah, I hate the weather this time of year. Anyways, is the classic "Baby, its Cold Outside" considered a Christmas song? I mean, they never actually mention the time of year in the song, just that its cold. I could be late January. Or they could be in Alaska or Canada or something. But that song only really plays during the Christmas season.

Anyways, the roomie's ps3 came in yesterday. No ps3 games yet, but as I said, he wanted to get one of the first gen ones that had the ps2 hardware in it for the backwards compatibility. After all, he has a bunch of ps2 games, despite never having owned a ps2. I mean, the ps2 is mine, and he's always roomed with someone who had a ps2 (w00ter, Neb Pinhead), so he's never had occasion to get one for himself.

Owel, there's still not too many games out for it that seem all that appealing. Stranglehold, I guess, the demo on the 360 was pretty fun. Heavenly Sword "looks" cool, but I hear its way too short and while it looks like God of War, but with a hot chick, it doesn't really have substance. Actually, I guess there's Virtua Fighter 5, Ninja Gaiden Black and you can download Tekken 5 DR Online. There are games coming out that might be cool- Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto 4, Devil May Cry 4, Soul Calibur 4 (why is everything up to 4?), Resident Evil 5 (I guess that's not a 4), Mercs 2 (not a 4 either), Dynasty Warriors 6 (also not a 4, so I guess not everything is up to 4), the newest Gran Turismo, Army of Two, Assassin's Creed, and Kane and Lynch: Dead Men.

Saw some more gameplay videos of Kane and Lynch. It still looks awesome, like something out of a Michael Mann movie. I still think if you combine this game with the free roaming world of the GTA series, and mebbe some of the environmental destructibility and neat gun fu tricks of Stranglehold (though that may be a little too much), it would be the ultimate stylized violence crime romanticization game.

Just watched the season finale of The Unit. Since Colonel Ryan's wife is only on every so often, I forget that she talks funny. I mean, whenever she was talking with her husband, I was totally thrown off by the way she was pronouncing things. Or rather the way she over-annunicated. Its as bad as Anna on the OC (and what was up with her as well, it still baffles me to this day why she talks like that!). I was wondering if the actress playing the colonel's wife was Canadian or something weird (or even the character). But I guess she's from Massachusets. I guess they do talk funny up there. Anyhoo, spoiler cut:

As a show, the Unit has always been slightly strange to me, but I guess its because of splitting the plot points between the bad ass spec-ops guys and their wives. Take tonight, for example. spoilers within )

So, I'm watching Before Sunset for like the jillionth time, just because it happens to be on HBO, and the movie always spurs questions within me. Like if someone I knew wrote a book, and included a character based on me, what would he be like? I remember in high school, one of my acquaintances was working on a story, and his version of me was this sidekick type with an encyclopedia-like knowledge of things. So whenever the protagonist would need help about some subject, this fictional version of me would chime in with some useful clue. Its like is that how he saw me, as some sort of egghead who knows something about everything? Well, I guess that's not too bad, but its not like I know a lot about stuff, I think my head is filled with more useless knowledge than anything else. In any case though, if I were to be a fictional character, I'd like something more juicy and substantive than a plot element to further the story with some useful piece of knowledge. But I guess I'm just not that interesting to be anything more than that or the pervy goofball comic relief. Alas, I'm definietly not a bad boy, but at the same time I don't think I have the conviction to be the white knight/boy scout hero.

But getting back to the movie, as I've said before, I think this movie's question is a little more complex than the first one's. What questions? cut for spoilers )

Was it me, or was this past SVU like a bad after school special? But what's with the Everwood casting as of recent? First Amy, now Hannah? And how odd that she's still able to play a high schooler.

And I don't know much about In Case of Emergency, but I do know they dress Kelly Hu in some pretty nice outfits. Plaid skirt with long boots, two piece too short Oriental dress looking deals? HOTT!
