Caprica- Alas, no cool matrix stuff, but maybe I'm the only one who likes this stuff. The majority of this ep was mostly more maneuvering by Clarice and Daniel. But they took some pretty big steps this week! I guess I missed this undertone, but Barnabus send Lacey and some other fellow classmate-cultists to blow up the spaceport, which was apparently an attempt to kill Clarice? They end up failing due to a screw up by Lacey. Well, not so much screw up, and more they got bad intel (or Barnabus didn't care) and there were folks around so a guard caught Lacey and they had to run. And in the chaos Lace still was carrying the bomb she had to plant.
So Clairce gets all pissed, and kills Pan and Hippolyta. Keon has had enough of all the "grown ups" BS, so he quits, so Barnabas shoots him. Then Clarice shows up, grabs Lacey, and then handcuffs Barnabas to a bomb in his place and blows him up.
Daniel, now being backed up by Joe and the Tauron mob, has started a campaign to blackmail all his former friends on the board to get back his position. He's feeling guilty at first, but then the Adamas tell him these so-called friends had no qualms about abandoning him and letting him be ousted. Still, one of his blackmail attempts drives one of his former friends to suicide (an ex-druggie who liked to beat up hookers, so he's not exactly a saint), and the guy's wife shows up to call Daniel a monster.
Meanwhile, that one cop guy approaches Amanda. When, I'm not sure, as they were doing weird flashback sequences throughout the ep with her. I guess everyone does know she survived and is alive. Anyways, he tells her Clarice is most likely a terrorist and is training kids at that Athena Academy (an opinion that his made him extremely unpopular at the police department, because she's a high ranking upstanding cleric, how could she be a secret monotheist!), so she should either kill Clarice or become a CI for him. I totally didn't realize that given what happened with Zoe, that if Amanda did find out Clarice was a follower of the one, she'd be pretty pissed. I mean, that makes total sense. But since Daniel is kinda a dick, and Clarice has been very nice to her, I didn't think about what would happen if Amanda found out about Clarice's leanings.
Anyways, with the weird flashbacks, like I said, I wasn't sure if the cop approached her same day when Amanda finds Clarice crying over her lost students (saying they were "found dead", not mentioning her role in any of it), or sometime between leaving the hospital and her being at the cabin last week.
