geebsG-D, there's too much TV on Thursday.
TV commentary:
Community- Actually, call me deluded, but I'm satisfied with the way things turned out. I mean, Annie seemed a little more mature in the season finale, but she kinda regressed here, maybe to make it more evident the age difference between her and Jeff and how she's practically still a kid. It did seem a little silly she actually believed the whole Jeff-Britta thing, but then again so do everyone else for some reason. But yeah, she definitely needs some more growing up to do, and Jeff is continually needing to be less of a self-involved dick. So to me, I don't think the Jeff-Annie thing is off the table despite the whole "I think you're gross now!" I'm so sure, when she says it in that tone!
Anyways, with the way they currently are, it leaves room for both of them to grow and re-address the feelings they have towards each other at a later date.
And are they putting the whole Britta-Jeff thing down for good? I mean, like Star Burns said, he did start the group to sleep with her and he did. And she realized she only said the L word because of her competitive nature, plus they seemed very no longer into each other. They seem better as buddies anyways.
30 Rock- I dunno why, but I found that whole Geico joke extremely hilarious in that "Its funny because its true" ways. I mean, why the hell does Geico have 4 spokespeople?! The Cavemen, the Gecko, the money with the eyes, and the Rod Sterling-ish guy. Its not like one replaced the other, because new ones of each spring up from time to time. It just seems kinda weird to have all the different ad campaigns.
The Office- Oh, weird, new credits! Is it gay that the one plot point that stuck with me was that somehow Erin dumped Andy for Gabe over the summer? That was an interesting twist. And how tall is that guy anyways?! I was amused when Kathy Bates told him to crouch b/c she didn't want to have the conversation with his crotch.
