geebsThe ex-roomie went to Momocon today, and wanted to know if I wanted him to pick me up a pass for tomorrow. Alas, spent all day at Kaiser Glenlake and have to follow up tomorrow, so doesn't look I'm gonna be able to check out the hot cosplay girls the ex-roomie was mentioning was there. Anyways, didn't realize Kaiser Cumberland wasn't open on the weekends anymore. Because yeah, if there's something that can wait til the start of the week its a medical issue! Actually, I guess it was better it was at Glenlake, because I woulda had to go there anyways cause unlike Cumberland, they have a CT. Anyways, got antibiotics and painkillers and have to be on a liquid diet, which totally sucks. Hopefully, that won't be for too long.
TV Commentary:
Justified- Caught the first ep of this. Pretty bad-ass show so far.
Caprica- Its interesting how vastly different Joe and Daniels quests to find their daughters are. So, while Adama is taking all sorts of insane risks in New Cap City (taking "drugs" to boost his abilities, etc) Daniel is basically doing all sorts of emotional torture on the U-87 to get Zoe to reveal herself. rjv('Cold blooded!')
There are people who are thinking Emmanuelle is either Evelyn or Tamara in disguise. I'm skeptical about the latter because of the shootout in the NCC version of the Adama's apartment. Emmanuelle was kinda freaking out that she almost de-rezzed, which makes me think she's a real player who was afraid of getting kicked out of NCC. Which again, I think is totally stupid. You only get 1 life in there, just like real life, but while you would do crazy stuff you wouldn't do in real life because its a virtual world, you still have that fear of death there. So how's that any fun?
But heh, since the virtual world looks real, Joe had to ask Sam how he kills people. And Sam is all, "imagine its a game!" So to be able to kill people in NCC, he had to act like its a game, even though that's what it is?!
And man, Daniel is a dick! Preying on Zoe's fear of fire, messing with her head, making her shoot the dog (with blanks!). I was surprised Zoe was willing to shoot the dog to keep up the charade, but I guess she knew the pistol only had blanks in it.
