Feb. 2nd, 2010 06:42 pmTV Commentary:
Secret Life- This is actually a comment on last week's ep, but what frakkin' teenager listens to "Mr. Sandman" and that one old-ass song about someone going to Istanbul or something? Those songs are prolly older than her parents!
House- I'm actually a little offended by the wall grip prank Lucas pulled on House. I know he was getting back at him and Wilson for stealing Cuddy's dream house, but still! Yes, House is a jerk, but that could've killed him! And I'm not a sports guy, but
clevemire tells me its not over for the patient of the week. Sure, he missed that scouting game, but apparently there are ways to get him on a team.
Life Unexpected-I'm sure the point of this ep was to show what horrible parents Cate and Baze had, but I seriously cannot stand Lux's friends. They're all a bunch of pretentious little pricks who think their so effin' cool. Plus they have that whole "us against the world" and living in weird places and just getting by with no real thought to the future attitude that I hate as much as I hate hippie communes. Well, communes in general (As I mentioned, when Sister Clarice took Lacey to meet her "family" on Caprica, they also pissed me off). Oh, and cults. Who are these people shutting themselves off from the rest of the world and living ridiculously and crap and acting like they're happy?!
I'm not sure if they're trying to make her friends out to be misunderstood, but they are all a bunch of thieving pricks who seem to be using her! I mean, funny how the blame on their stupid plan to get emancipated and live like bums failing lies on her, since they were relying on HER savings! Its like, damn her for finding her birth family who took her in and love her! And how many times have they said she should just run away and pawn all this neat new stuff her birth parents gave her?! Frakkin' little punks!
Chuck- Is it me, or does Kristin Kreuk look totally hot in her Nerd Herder outfit? Interesting, it seems like Chuck's lies are catching up with him, and Awesome's constant agitation isn't helping things. Morgan and Ellie are suspicious, and the former has sent Jeffster to start spying on Chuck. I wonder if they'll actually find out Chuck's secret. I still think Ellie should know given how her whole family is involved in this now!
HIMYM- Going along the lines of 200 girls is too much, isn't the whole "perfect week" also kinda gross? I mean, a different random hottie may be cool on paper, but not very sanitary. Also not sanitary, sharing a toothbrush! Who the hell shares a toothbrush!? But, heh, it is funny that they kinda put a lampshade on the sometimes inappropriate stories Ted tells with SagetTed asking his kids, "Am I a bad dad?" there at the end when present Ted is all, "Yeah, like I'm gonna tell my kids a story of how one of my best friends nailed a different girl every week!"
24- Poor Starbuck, being saddled with such a stupid storyline that will hopefully get resolved soon. Actually, I'm hoping she's devious and that she's leading her white-trash ex into a trap that gets him and the other thug killed. Oh, and its amusing that Leoben is even creepier here than he was on BSG. Sark, on the other hand, is kinda pansified here.
And really, what's with Renee looking eh sometimes and hot other times?
