TV Commentary:

Monk- Okay, once Stottlemeyer was all "we just found out there's a contract out on your life", I realized that it was all just an elaborate surprise party trick. Kudos to going all out with the fake guard getting shot, that's kinda hilarious. I don't know what Jocko was talking about on this past ep of Community, I don't think really committing to getting something over on someone is "creepy", I think it shows dedication.

In any case though, Monk was kinda a huge dick for not going to the previous surprise party. He must be friends with the most understanding people in the world for them to show up after he jerked them around at least thrice. I would think in real life, after he refused to come to the second party people would start being all, "Eff this guy!" Though I do think Natalie was kinda rude and dismissive. I think I understand what he was saying, I mean, if they really did leave after the cowboy guy left, it would be a blow to the self esteem, like the other kids were only using him. But she acted like that was no big deal.

Psych- For some reason I found the whole Fast and the Furious convo incredibly hilarious, but I suppose I would be amused by people having a movie argument/discussion in the middle of a life or death sitch. But how angsty! Shawn tries to slip Jules some clues under the guise of calling Abby to say a final goodbye. But to sell it, he says the L-word, and she thinks he's being for real so she's about to tell him she's in love with him too, but then he adds a "Abigail" at the end, and Jules is totally disappointed.
