TV Commentary:

Flashforward- You know what will get old quickly? People asking Joseph Fiennes, "How does this person know you?!" G, IDK, could it be the entire world flashing to April 29th?! So, is Gabrielle Union an effin' liar? Or is something fishy going on if she sees Harold in her flashforward. Or is it that she's marrying some other Asian dude on the beach, but she's just far away and just assumes its Harold, because what other Asian guy would she be marrying.

As for Joseph Fiennes' sponsor, I don't see how exhuming the remains proves anything. They said there wasn't that much left of his daughter and they only figured out it was her through DNA testing. How do they know she didn't like lose a leg, or her DNA contaminated some thing which made the test test positive for her once again?

The Office- So its the Jim and Pam wedding ep. I was trying to figure out what they meant by that youtube thing, because I apparently live under a rock and never heard of this Chris Brown's "Forever" wedding entrance video:

But I knew the song was a Chris Brown song, though only because of that one Doublemint gum commercial, so searched youtube for that and wedding to figure out what the hell they were referring to.

Wait, so Jim and Pam assumed that their family and friends would spring that whole thing on them?! That's kinda an odd thing to expect. But ah, they secretly got married under Niagra Falls. So how did they get their outfits dried out before they came back?! Unless they really had everyone waiting a long time.

Other "what the?!" moments. Why would Kevin wear kleenex boxes as shoes? Even if he can't get dress shoes, surely there's some place he can get any kind of shoe, period. It is hilarious that of all the people to screw up the not letting the grandma know Pam is preggers thing, that its Jim. I also like it that he's blaming it on becoming a manager turning you stupid.

But interesting, so Pam's sister is Sarah Newlin from True Blood? I always thought she was kinda cute. Though she seems a tad less cute here not being a southern girl here. Because the Southern thing kinda amplified Sarah Newlin's hotness in my mind. Especially during that one time where Jason was imagining her dancing for him while she was cooking something up on the BBQ. Oh, things that annoy me. So apparently Pam has this best friend we've never met before. i call shenanigans. Not meeting either of their families is fine, perhaps they don't live around there. But surely in the years of the show, we would've seen her be all, "Oh, this is my best friend, a dental hygenist." I mean, we briefly met those college peeps she was hanging out with when she went to art school, how do we not meet her actual friends?

Glee- And since I can't seem to make a post without talking about my current TV obsession, Glee, here's a pretty cool vid covering the first six eps set to the "It's My Life/Confessions Part II" mashup:

You know, I think one of my favorite parts of "It's My Life" is the stomping. Because stomping in a song is cool, like in Rammstein's "Feuer Frei". It gets the crowd into it! But yeah, as someone said, its a nice little snippet to see what the show is like.

"Or is it that she's marrying some other Asian dude on the beach, but she's just far away and just assumes its Harold, because what other Asian guy would she be marrying."

It doesn't even have to be an asian dude. Black haired guy dressed like a groom, from a far enough distance, you're just going to assume its your fiancee.

On the Office, it rarely leaves the office unless it's following Michael or multiple characters elsewhere. Pam in art school was a rare exception, but that was important to the Jim/Pam storyline. When has Pam been somewhere that her best friend should be, prior to her wedding? She's been at work, at work-related functions, following Michael around, and in another city at school. None of those are places you're likely to find Pam's best friend. And just for kicks, alternative possible explanation: she was Pam's best friend growing up, they have stayed in close touch, but the friend moved elsewhere after high school.

Who are Jim's friends? Surely he has some, and they can't be work people, since Pam's pretty much the only one there he likes. Do you object to not knowing who they are?

Yes, I kinda would object!

argh, I guess the end tag got cut off from my recording, because I was just reading the TWoP recap and I totally missed Michael hooking up with Pam's mom.

Oh yeah two FlashForward things I meant to mention... Harold (as you insist on calling him) is totally turning that guy in for the bong, right? To see if he can change the future? I'd be offended if he didn't.

And does the scar on the kid in Somalia in 1991 or whatever mean they're casting Omar from the Wire as the grown up version of him?

...who strangely appears on L&O shortly after I wrote that. Or probably right before, since I'm 10 minutes behind.

Yeah, I was thinking that, because it was kinda weird to have a scene like that. Its like, here's this scene 18 years ago with this kid with a scarred face just like his.
