Leverage- Pretty cool ep of Leverage last night with the Bizarro version of the team. Speaking of, Wil Wheaton did a TWoP interview the other day for this ep (he's Hardison's counterpart). But its from the interview that I learned Sophie, or rather Gina Bellman is preggers in real life. I was wondering why she was playing less of a role these past few eps!
But yeah, while she had no counterpart, Wesley Crusher was Hardison's as I mentioned before. Nate's was played by Griffin Dunne (who's father, novelist Dominick Dunne, died last night. Whenever I would hear that name, I would think of Dominique Dunne, the elder daughter from the first Poltergeist who was murdered by her ex-bf which they attribute to the "Poltergeist curse". Oh wait, they're father and daughter. I did not know that! And the name similarity make sense!). Parker's counterpart is "gentleman thief and entertainer" Apollo Robbins. And bizarro-Eliot is played by the hot Israeli model and actress Noa Tishby. Is it me, or did she look totally hot with the glasses in the beginning of the ep?
Anyways, I've mentioned on here before my stance on acting in pr0n. While I'm not expecting Academy Award performances, I think the acting has an influence on the story going on. Take for example, Dakoda Brookes (hey, I brought her up in my last post about pr0n) in GBA #23 (I'll leave you to figure what GBA stands for). So, the plot is basically that her boyfriend takes her backstage to see her favorite band practicing for her birthday. That apparently wasn't enough though, because she also asks if she can screw all of them. So anyways, the bf acqueisces and is all, "Remember this when its my b-day!" And she replies with a terse "sure".
See, now I'm not sure the tone of voice she uses is indicative of a bad line reading by the actress because the action is about to start so she's not bothering staying in character, or if the character she's playing is just a bitch and is all "Whatever!" and she has no intention of remembering the big b-day gift her bf gave her. I think its somewhat vital to the plot!
Another scene (dunno what movie its from) has one of my all time favorites Jenna Haze (I heard recently there was a compilation released of a bunch of her scenes and those of another of my all time favorites, Teagan Presley called "Jenna vs Teagan". Cool) and one of my new favorites, the mad cute Lexi Belle trying to sun on a cloudy day. So anyways, it starts out with Jenna complaining about the lack of sun and Lexi apologizing. And this whole time, I can't tell if Lexi did that on purpose and she's acting all shy and apologetic because her character secretly has a crush on Jenna's character, and she was just trying to get Jenna to go inside and take a bath to wash off all that suntan lotion she lathered on, leading to sexy results. I'm not saying she did a bad job, just that acting is important to pr0n scenes to understand the motivations of what's going on!
Speaking of Dakoda and Lexi, they were both up for the "Cream Dream" award at this year's XRCO awards, along with Alexis Love (not the best pic of her, but irregardless of that, she'd be better if she fixed her teeth), and sometimes American Apparel model Faye Reagan (who is a little too freckly for my tastes). They lost out to Tori Black, who I mentioned before can look a lot like the hot Leighton Meester at times. While Tori won that, she did lose out on XRCO's "Best New Starlet" award to the ridiculously hot Stoya, but that's no surprise, because if Stoya didn't win that, people would be calling shenanigans.
