Had a dream last night that caused me to wake up all stressed (I hate referring dreams I have like these as nightmares, because they don't seem nightmarish) So I had this dream that there was this room that looked all Tron-y, so the government had sealed it off and were sending someone to investigate it. There was this astronaut played by Will Smith (or looked like Will Smith?), but he wasn't the guy they were sending. I was, and Will Smith was going to be my guide. Turns out the room was a portal to a parallel dimension. And once I crossed over, the room stopped look Tron-y and was all normal. Amusingly enough, it wasn't until I was over there that everyone realized that perhaps there might be hostile things in this dimension that might attack me. Which is when the dream turns all stressful.

I can see through a crack in one of the doors out of the room that a bunch of vacuum-cleaner looking robots are approaching. So I hide in what I think is a closet, but was really an elevator. It goes down a level, and apparently the building I'm in is some run down motel, and there's this middle aged asian dude at the front desk looking all annoyed. He tells me to hide in this storeroom, and the dream must go through a fast forward or something, because next thing I know I'm hooked up with some underground rebel group, and they're showing me one of the technologies of their world, a device that affixes to mirrors that they can use to teleport places.

Anyways, eventually, I end up in a parking lot, and Danny Glover (or a guy who looks like Danny Glover, or maybe a character played by Danny Glover) lands near me. Apparently he's this dude the government experimented on and they gave him super powers. He goes crazy and starts chucking cars at people, or shattering concrete and tossing large rocky debris at people, just causing general havoc and slaughter. I managed to hide before he ends up flying off.

And I end up doing one of those things where I'm in a "story" but then I get out of it for a second like I'm really just watching a TV program or playing a game to indicate that's why things are so crazy, because its just a TV show or game, but then I'm back in the "action" like there's no difference. Anyways, this time, its like this is all happening in some board game being played by me and the usual suspects. Like it seemed a little like the BSG game, but the board seemed to be of the world. And there were "crises" that could occur (which is where the BSG-game came in) Anyways, I was looking at the map and there were a few things that could happen in the Caribbean area, and I remarked to the others about the crises that could happen in that part of the world and they were all, "Nah, we don't have to worry about those, its very unlikely they'd happen".

But sure enough, one of them does- an Atlantean invasion. And then I'm back in the "game-world". The Atlanteans try to flood the southern US, but there's some battle aboard a sub, and Michael Scofield from Prison Break manages to hatch a plan to stop them. Well, he was working with Samantha Carter from Stargate, and she seemed to be in charge of whatever group was fighting the Atlanteans currently. But then this chick shows up from the DHS or NSA or some agency, and she starts attacking Sam because while we stopped the Atlantean flood, the war was still going on, so in their eyes we failed.

Yeah, I'm not sure why this dream stressed me out either. I guess it was the whole being stuck fighting a war in another dimension, with vacuum cleaner robots and Atlanteans and super Danny Glover and even the government I'm trying to help all trying to kill me. That can be kinda stressful.

TV Commentary:

Kings- What's up with it being moved to Saturday nights? I'm guessing NBC has no confidence in the show, which sucks because it does seem pretty interesting. Is it me, or was Macaulay Culkin really friggin creepy? And he's stealing his Aunt's shoes? cliffV('What's up with that?!') They haven't said what he was exiled for, but I wanna say its because he's some freaky pervo serial-rapist/killer.

Anyways, is it really "Judgement Day" if it doesn't all take place in one day? But heh Jack is such an a-hole, trying to play Michelle and David off like that. His reasoning for trying to sabotage them does make sense, because it is prolly likely to happen. So they're twins and Michelle's the older one, so she's first born. And the King thinks David is so great. So if the two of them get together, Jack might find himself ousted as the next in line for rulership (especially since he's a big poofster). Interesting though, even though everything worked out, Michelle brings up that mysterious oath her dad brought up in a previous ep. She claims she's promised to another. Well, glad she's been leading on David and that other guy who used to eat her crayons! Of course, I think she's lying about that excuse.

But this show is all about the divine intervention. Did Silas only decide to help David's brother after Katrina Ghent found the medal of valor in the random envelope on the floor and how he'd lose a valuable friend and ally if he didn't fix it? It seemed fortuitous that Jack was so pissed that he made the court go for the maximum possible penalty, and so Silas was able to intervene for "Justice's sake" because their sentence was too harsh.

Prison Break- So this is back after the almost four month hiatus. Heh, I thought it was two new eps on Friday rather than them showing the last ep before the break at 8, then the new one at 9. Needless to say, I was quite confused before I realized the 8pm ep was a repeat. Like Gretchen was back with them, so I was all, wait, did she survive her gunshot wound, and she's back with them for some reason?

Anyways, apparently Lincoln and Michael's mom wants to take over the Company, so she's trying to get her boys to just stay out of her way until she does. Or so she claims. Looks like she has no qualms about killing her sons if they become inconvenient for her plans. Weird though, that she gave Linc a chance to back off, but she sent someone after Michael. Does she seem him as a threat because he's as smart as she is? But I would think she would want him on her side, he'd make a better heir than Linc, at least brain-wise.

Then again, I'm trying to figure out if the one thug actually tried to kill them, or they just assumed that's what he was trying to do. I mean, he had them trapped in a semi-trailer. You'd think if he needed them dead, there were ways he could do it right then rather than driving them off to meet some people somewhere.

Criminal IntentSo why did USA keep delaying this? Wasn't it supposed to come out months ago? And heh, they kept advertising Jeff Goldblum, and he's not even in the first new ep. Was it me, or was the story so prosaic? And I'm sure they've done it before too. I mean, a messed up stepdaughter hooking up with a criminal type to get back at her stepfather? Like it wasn't obvious how it was all gonna go once they had that reveal that he was a pervo who was abusing her. I mean, she has a little sister her parents had while on an impromptu trip to Europe? Really, who wouldn't guess that its really her daughter, and she got knocked up by her step-dad and they had it in Europe in secret?

And was he effin the baby-sitter? That whole scene in the wine cellar made it seem like he was working towards it, but then they implied he had been screwing her for a while. What a whiny cry-baby! And deluded! He was tempting her by running around in her underwear? It is interesting how that line is considered sick and pervy, but on 30 Rock a few weeks ago, when Pete was all he can't go back to teaching high school math again, because "those girls try to act like they're not women, but they really are", is hilarious. Maybe its in the delivery?

Hotter than a real life suicidal molested crack girl would be. Heh, I just realized, Max Medina has a penchant for blue eyed brunettes in that ep, and Rory almost became his step daughter.
