Why would a man selling ice cream be singing eye-talian songs? Especially on July 4th? Shouldn't he be singing American songs?!

What's up with Salma Hayek breast feeding random babies?! Is that even sanitary?! She doesn't know where that baby's been! Or vice versa.

TV commentary:

On Smallville, I figured when Lana touched that piece of bomb and absorbed that little bit of kryptonite, that's how they were gonna get rid of her- she would be forced to absorb a whole bunch of kryptonite and then Clark wouldn't be able to get rid of her ever again. I do find it funny that the first thing Lana and Clark do when she gets superpowered or he gets depowered is to eff a lot. Didn't they do a bed breaking joke before? Oh, wait, it was an earthquake joke previously.

But in this new season's quest to bring more characters from the comics, this week's villain was the Toymaker. Though they changed his back story so that he got fired from Queen industries rather than Luthorcorp, and now he's helping out Lex. Speaking of, yeah, I'm so sure he's so dead after Oliver blew him up! Those are obviously fake remains.

Oh, they did have Chiara Zanni (Maggie the waitress from Edgemont) playing a bit part as a nurse. I always thought she was really cute. She also has a cute voice. Did that show of hers on the N where she lives with a bunch of guys get cancelled? Oh, and her name makes her sound like a character from a sci fi show.

Looks like they're doing more with Nate's alcoholism on Leverage. I'm curious to know the original order of these eps now, because as I said, the one where he first starts drinking seems like an early one. So does the alkyness start early and end early, or was it actually meant to be prevalent throughout the season, just more obvious in certain eps.

Also kinda disturbing, reading some forums after watching the ep, and how more than a few people were thinking "threesome" when Parker walked off with Eliot and Hardison.

Ah cool, besides having the main cop guy from the 4400 and Tom "Zeke" Friendly from Lost, they had Marla Sokoloff on Burn Notice this week. Nice to see she still working. I think she's still hot. Though her being on kinda made it obvious who the spy Tom hired Mike to find was. Its like gee, could it be this one famous hot chick they showed for a few seconds?

And wait, was the arms dealer guy's bodyguard "jackass" last time too? I though it was "dumbass"?

So on the Office, Pam (hey, I thought she was looking pretty cute tonight) gets closure on the whole Karen thing, as Karen is happily married and expecting. Working off this high, she and Michael decided to go see Holly. Weird that they did a "to be continued" on the end there. I mean, yeah, the plot is "to be continued", but its not that much of a cliffhanger!

Marla Sokoloff is on the border between geebs-famous and famous, but I had the same reaction. Although she's still hot, she could actually lose a few pounds, her legs looked a little chubby. Better than getting too skinny though.

"To be continued" doesn't mean "cliffhanger!" it means what it says. Without the "to be continued," the Holly thing could work, but the birthday party is also left unresolved. Without "to be continued" it would just feel like an extremely unsatisfying episode, since 2 of 3 plots were left dangling and the third ended on a downer.
