Seriously, why does everyone take it so friggin slow in the mornings!? Don't they have places to be, like work?! I also wonder how much of a maniacal a-hole I must seem to other drivers.

TV commentary:

A thought on Lost. Shows like Lost, or BSG, or even 24 always make me nervous, because they're the kind of shows I expect someone to suddenly die for the shock of it all. So knowing Ben's out to kill Penny, most scenes with her I prolly can't help thinking she'll be like talking to Desmond and all of a sudden get cut down. Like last week, when Desmond had that dream, all I could think, "Ah, since Desmond has to help them, they have to expose themselves, and Ben will kill her when they surface!"

Why the frick do I still watch TSLOTAT, its always so retarded. I'm also amused how they're trying to make Ricky all noble by having him tell Grace's parents that he's gonna stay away from her, because he doesn't want her getting hurt. (And how pathetic was it that she was all crying and "can we still be friends?") Too bad its undercut by the fact that he's still effin' Adrian on the side. So he's an a-hole for trying to have Grace as his "real" gf, while making Adrian his eff-buddy, particularly when both girls are really in "lurve" with him.

Heh, on the Closer, when it started with Brenda doing wedding stuff, that kinda undercut the cliffhanger, because that meant obviously Sanchez was alive. I mean, it would be kinda cold of the show to have "wedding hijinks with Brenda and Fritz and her parents" while Sanchez was dying in the hospital. So time had to have passed, and if he had died, I would think they would start with everyone in the squad being all sad and solemn over the loss. Its not like they could have a "OMG, wedding planning is so stressful!" scene, and then have her go back to the squad and them off handedly mention, "Oh yeah, he died."

On NCIS, call me lame, but I thought the whole Beary-bear (or whatever the hell that Teddy Ruxpin ripoff was called) thing did set up a nice little Gibbs reference there. Because that was my thought, that his daughter would've been the right age for him to actually wait in line for it and he seems like the ultra devoted dad type, and sure enough he did tell his own story of when he had to get the bear.

And I can't believe Tony didn't catch on that Mcgee knew! I mean, it was obvious to the audience once Mcgee wasn't giving up on the online girl no matter what Tony did. And surely Tony doesn't think Mcgee is that pathetic!

Heh, little DC connection on Fringe tonight, with Jen's Grams playing the mother of the lab assistant who died in the accident that put Walter away. And slick, Peter is not. What the hell was up with answering the phone and being all, "I'm sorry, there's no one here by that name, you have the wrong number!" but then when they ask, he's all, "Oh, its a student trying to get the financial aid office!" WTF?! He already had a lie set up, he could've just said it was a wrong number and they were looking for Jocko Mcletterman or Joe Vigilante or some other made up name!

Oh, and are they setting up a thing with Peter and Olivia's sister? Its like geez, could she be any more obvious when Peter was playing with the daughter. I mean, she was practically all, "You would make a great father for my little girl!" and then being all, "Oh, Liv's the workaholic. I'm a fun on the weekends gal, if you know what I mean!"

And interesting, is this the first case that didn't seem to have a connection to the pattern or Walter's experiments? Or did I miss a conversation somewhere? I mean, Walter had his theory on what was happening, but it didn't sound like it was based on an experiment of his. It was just something some random guy came up with.

Is it me, or is Jo/Denise kinda hott? I mean, she's cute, but there's something about that butchy tough guy tomboyish attitude. In any case, she thinks she can't do the whole caring thing, but I think the fact that she realizes she thinks she can't do it means she sort of can. I mean, someone who really doesn't care is too busy not caring to care. But at least she sees she has a problem.

All in all, I do find the new interns interesting. So Big Ed is really smart, but lazy, Jo/Denise is kinda a heartless bitch, and Katie/Blair (tv('You're Welcome!) is a manipulative kiss-ass? So did she not learn her lesson from Carla from a few eps ago? Or has she just gotten better at hiding her manipulations?

And what's with the weird Sesame Street crossover? I mean, its original, and its one of the few shows you could actually do something like that, but it is an odd choice of guest. But the melancholy version of the Sesame Street theme was kinda nice. I hear its done by Josh Radin.

And when the hell did Eliot and JD start going out again? I guess its been a couple of weeks since the last ep. I remember the whole, they were practically a couple thing, but did they say they were gonna give it another shot? I guess its because the sesame street ep was between them, and that ep made no reference to it (that I can remember). So it seemed out of the blue when he was all "we've been dating for almost a week now". But the Sesame Street ep definitely did preceed the cookie pants one, because he reference the whole lung cancer thing when he was talking to Jo.

And what's with the ABC commercials billing the second ep as "the most romantic ep of Scrubs evar!"? Not really. Though I will admit, JD coming home and seeing Eliot dressed down in her cookie pants not even trying or anything and being all. "You look beautiful" was kinda sweet. Ill, lame, I know!

Getting out of the cut, which me is more insufferable, the lame, corny one into crap like that scene and shipping in general (tho I don't really ship that particular couple) who likes dramadies, romantic comedies, and shoujo, as well as musicals, the geeky one who geeks out about guns (or weapons in general, mainly anything that can fire a projectile or carries an edge) and cars and video games and rpgs and military stuff, or the slightly pervo freak into somewhat questionable things?

Oh, and getting back to music on Scrubs. I was thinking about songs in my play queue, and how many came to my attention because I heard them on some show I watch. And I think the main shows I've done that with are Scrubs, House, the OC, and Gossip Girl. And I guess Swingtown did remind me of a lot of great classics.

Wait, C&C Red Alert 3 and its expansion features the largest Hollywood cast ever to appear in a video game?! I guess there are a lot of famous (or at least geebs "famous") names in the imdb credits. Heh, I did not know the Hoff was in this. Oh, but I just heard the expansion includes, Malcolm Mcdowell, that Samurai Girl chick, and Ric Flair?! Ha, that's awesome! Well, only if he goes into one of his insane rants and raves and says "Wooooo!" and talks about taking people for a ride on Space Mountain.
