Heh, so [livejournal.com profile] clevemire points me to the urban dictionary definition of the male lesbian, I assume to comment that I am one, particularly under the third definition of the term. And I can't fault him, because my immediate thought upon reading the example was, the various P/J scenes on DC that would fall under it. Which in turn made me think of my top 5 Pacey/Joey moments (in no particular order) of the series:

1) Pacey drives Joey back after breaking up with that AJ guy on her trip to Boston:

Pacey, driven crazy by the possibility that she may possibly feel the same way about him that he does about her, gets tired of all the talking and cuts to the chase. I'm annoyed that the DVD version doesn't have Tara Mclean's "Settling" playing in the background, because I thought that worked so great for the scene.

2) Joey runs to admit her feelings to Pacey and sails off with him:

(I couldn't find a clip of just that end part, so this includes the whole part at the wedding where Dawson finally let's Joey go. I can't remember who said this, but seriously, whoever said him breaking down after she runs off is the worst bit of man-crying since Luke Skywalker in Empire Strikes Back is totally right)

She thinks she's in love with him! Nay, she knows! And through all that, you see Pacey hoping against hope that she's about to admit she loves him, and when she finally does, his face lights up like a kid on Christmas. Seriously, these two have one of the best chemistries of a pairing on a TV show.

3) Basically, all of Castaways, but in particular, after the shaving scene when Pacey kisses Joey again for the first time in a long time and tells her how he's always thinking about kissing her:

Surprise! "Wanting to kiss you? Its sort of always there, like white noise, or the secret service, or the threat of nuclear war for that matter." is one of my favorite lines in the entire series. Plus, their dialogue throughout the whole scene is so cute! (I am so ghey!) Oh, BTW, what's up with Joey all weirded out when she first thinks the pajamas are the outfit Pacey is talking about? Hey, don't dismiss the cuteness of PJs. They worked for Casey Mcdonald and Taylor Townsend, and Joey's looking totally cute here too.

4) Joey is off the hook:

Alas, I couldn't find the actual scene, but this clip does have the dialogue. I can't not laugh and grin like an idiot whenever I hear him say she's "off the hook", because at first, you think he's trying to be all slangy, like, "Girl, you are off the hook!" There are some other great moments in the series finale, like when Pacey kisses Joey on the dance floor to make Virginia Madsen jealous (seriously, why did Virginia Madsen agree to come on for such a nothing role? I guess its a paycheck), or when Pacey and Joey are in the kitchen and they get into the food fight. Supposedly Joshua Jackson ad-libbed the whole, "What are you going to eat?! That is your dinner!"

5) Pacey and Joey dance at the anti-prom:

He remembers everything! Nuff said. Well, I do feel a little sorry for Andie. She's like totally crushed when she sees the two of them together. But at least she knew the writing on the wall, as opposed to five-head. Maybe its just my P/J bias, but is it me, or once they decided to pair Pacey and Joey up, Dawson's interaction with her just started coming off as creepy? I mean, the first two seasons, I didn't think that. But the last half of s3, when he was all pissed and possessive of Joey, as well as the series finale, where he just came off as a weird almost-stalker. (I mean, the speech in the my number 4 choice, Joey sounds like she's rolling her eyes as she babbles on about Dawson is tied to her childhood and is her soulmate and they share a love that is pure and eternal or some such crap)

Owel, TGIF! Just need to get through the work day, do laundry, and pack my bags up, and I'll be ready to go NYC.

TV commentary:

You know, after dinner last night, I almost totally forgot I still hadn't watched this past Monday's ep of Prison Break on the DVR? Ida know, I kinda like the idea of Linc as a Company enforcer. He seems like a thug now, but with some more training and experience, I think he could be as scary and effective as Kellerman or Wyatt. Heh, but yeah, so now he's basically the Company's hound dog for retrieving Scylla. I'm also highly amused that since Sucre left, Mahone is on the run, and Michael's recovering (and I assume Sara's staying with him), that his new team is T-bag, Self, and Gretchen (who, BTW, is awesome this season, unlike the previous season). Awkward!

Oh, but the whole surgery was only done for one other person, who lived a long and healthy life, that's totally Michael and Linc's mom! And she was apparently Company. I bet she's still alive, and is either the chick on the other end of the phone with the guy who grabbed Scylla, or Tasha Yar. Hey, the latter is possible, I'm trying to think if there were any scenes where she interacted with Michael or Lincoln (it seemed she only talked with Sara, but I could be wrong). I mean, its not like she's really done stuff since TNG, as far as I know, but it just seems odd to me to get her to play some random nurse.
