I had heard they were doing a remake of Friday the 13th, and there's a new full length trailer out. One, I totally didn't recognize Danielle Panabaker as the chick (who? You know, Shark's hot daughter who they oft paraded around in schoolgirl uniforms, the other chick in Sky High besides Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and the girl who beat her mother to death in that ep of SVU where her mother was so obviously an alcoholic, but the detectives didn't figure that out until the :45 minute mark. And she's the older sister of Kay Panabaker of Summerland fame) until I saw her name in the credits. And Sam Winchester is the male protagonist, I guess? Two, are they totally changing the plot around? I mean anyone who saw the original (or the beginning of Scream) knows Jason Voorhees isn't the actual killer, its his mom (oops, spoiler!) But this one, its looks like its pretty obviously Jason (as he was in the later movies) as the killer, unless his mom is really big and buff.

Oh, and saw this trailer for a Japanese movie called Uniform Survigirl I/II on filmdrunk the other day. But since I don't speak Jap, what in the world is the movie about?! Well besides cute Japanese school girls in the woods attacking each other with katanas and other weapons?

TV commentary:

I heard in last night's 30 Rock, they were originally gonna get Blake Lively and Leighton Meester from Gossip Girl to be in the Liz Lemon flashbacks to HS as the popular girls, but I guess they changed that. But heh, as guest stars, we get Casey from SVU and Donna from the West Wing. But ha, Jack pretending to be Larry Braverman and Donna being all "say that thing you said to me at the lake that night!" and Jack cooly telling her no? Awesome, and brilliant!

Last night's Office, I was all shocked at Jim going against Pam. Doesn't he know he's gonna be in the dog house (hmm, is it obvious which side I think has the power in relationships)? But he did get her back in the end with the copy requesting. Truthfully, while there is something to be said about a comfortable chair, I would've gone with the copier. Yeah, you wouldn't be as productive when you're uncomfortable, but a broken copier would interfere more with business!

As for the B-plot, one, how did Andy not notice a cow patty in the kitchen before he stepped in it? I mean, wouldn't it be obvious? Speaking of obvious, it was pretty obvious they were going for the Dwight secretly gets Angela to marry him angle, but still, I somehow wanted to give Dwight the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't that crazy. But he is. And ha, ironically, if he didn't pull that stunt, Angela would've gonna back to him, instead of freaking out because he's a crazy man.
