More on my weird idiosyncracies. I've mentioned before that I'll try my damnedest not to handle a public bathroom door (usually getting an extra piece of towel to touch the handle and toss it in the trash after I get the door opened), but another weird bathroom thing of mind is being grossed out when people fill/clean out coffee pots and what have you in the bathroom sink. Its like, why can't you use the breakroom/kitchen sink? I guess water from the bathroom sink isn't less clean than that from other sinks, but it still makes me feel ill for some reason.

And its ridiculous, because when brushing my teeth, after spitting out the toothpaste, I'll drink some water from the bathroom sink. Though if I get thirsty in the middle of the night, I usually walk all the way to the kitchen to get a drink of water, even though the bathroom's closer. Why is it okay to drink from there only after brushing my teeth?

Another thing that weirds me out- dead pr0n chicks. No, I'm not talking about some sort of weird necrophilia thing. The other day, I forgot what I was reading, but the article off handedly mentioned pr0n star Haley Paige had died this past August. And I've come to realize, now it kinda weirds me out too watch any of her work. Same goes for a few other chicks in that business who have died. I mean, why should it matter if they're dead now? I'm not weirded out by re-watching movies done by actors/actresses that are now dead. Then again, I guess it is in the back of my mind sometimes when I watch a movie with a dead actor/actress, like I'll be thinking, "Oh, how sad, he/she is dead."

Wednesday night TV commentary:

Pushing Daisies continues to be a charming show. And hilarious. But in another bit of my weirdness, I know its just a show, but there are times where I get a little antsy when Ned gets a little too close to Digby or Chuck. Like, mebbe they'll accidentally brush against each other and it would be horrible and sad. But obviously, since this is a plotted out television show, that would never happen.

Anyways, I was both amused and horrified at the way Talk Soup guy's character met his untimely demise. I mean, its kinda funny, but at the same time its kinda cringe inducing. The whole falling on a sharp object is bad enough, but multiple times? Ouch.

On Gossip Girl, little J brings her mom back. And she kinda sucks. Not in a bitchy or bad mother kinda way, the actress just seemed confused and not there.

As mentioned in either the TWoP recaps or forums, its always sad to see Blair get so legitimately happy, because it only means she's about to get kicked in the teeth. It sucks, because she's so beautiful when she smiles, but at the same time your heart breaks for her because you know the other shoe is about to drop. I still don't see what she sees in Nate, he's boring, and he doesn't seem to even really like her. But for some reason her b-day wish was to get him back, so she was crushed when it didn't come true.

And who comes to rescue her? Chuck. I guess he actually hasn't tried to rape anyone since the pilot, but it still makes it hard to get behind Chuck/Blair. But the show does a really good job of selling you on them. I mean, they have a cute dynamic, and even though she seems to loathe him he seems to legitimately care for her in a more than sexual way. He's always screwing around, but with her it seems he wants more. But she's coming around, particularly with his romantic gesture at her b-day.

But looks like Serena might have something to say about this. I was wondering, because she seemed to be pretty civil, even "cool" with him at the party. She's all, "Oh, let's ask Chuck where Nate is" in this tone like he wasn't someone who tried to rape her a few episodes ago.

And what's with all the Guitar Hero references as of late? First South Park, now this?
