Got a much needed haircut yesterday. Tracy said she wanted to try out something new, since she thinks she usually leaves my hair a little uneven. So after clipping it to my preferred length of shortness, she went over it with the electric and the big guard to get everything nice and even. I think she did a good job, and it was free! I prolly shoulda given her a bigger tip than usual since it was free. After all, I'm still coming out ahead.

Saw Thirteen the other night. You know, that Even Rachel Wood movie where she plays a wild teen. Its an interesting movie, I think EVR really sells it. (And no, I'm not saying that just because she's being all slutty and making out with her best friend and stuff) And what's with Holly Hunter playing these mothers trying to be the cool mom and ending up screwing up her kids? First Laurel Canyon, now this. And does Jeremy Sisto always play characters who are drug users/ex-drug users? Though I never really watched Six Feet Under that regularly. Back when he was on Six Feet Under, I remember his character was crazy, but I guess that doesn't neccesarily mean he was a druggie.

Speaking of Six Feet Under, I was reading the recaps on TWoP, since I've actually been catching the show recently since I heard Michelle Trachtenberg was on it playing a Britney type character for a few of the eps. And I noticed they had a sapphic Mena Suvari on there as well. What happened to her, has she done anything since American Pie/American Beauty? And didn't she marry some guy like twice her age? But I digress, back to the recap, I was shocked to see the recapper mention Adventureland. Ha, I don't think anyone outside of Long Island would have ever heard of that place. I remember when [livejournal.com profile] 7500centfish and [livejournal.com profile] isabel79 and I were kids, we used to go there in the summers. (Do y'all know if its still around?) Of course, now that I think about it now, it was such a small amusement park. They only had the one roller coaster. Though I do remember spending a lot of time in the arcade. But I'm not knocking the place, it was entertaining enough, and it was somewhere to go besides the mall that wasn't too far away from their house.

Yup. Still around. Went there a few years ago, with Jennie and my nephew on Dad's side. Haha... Jennie was the only short one. She was the only one allowed to go on the kiddie rides with Mikey! Want to go again. But alas... No one to go with :( Kinda over priced, says I. Think an unlimited pass is like 25 bucks. Then I think at the time a day pass at disney was 50...

OK, I'm rambling now...

Ha, I'm still weirded out when I see it spelled "Jennie". Who the hell started referring to her as "Jeanie" anyways?! They started all this confusion. And what does she actually call herself anyways?

Anyhoo, $25 doesn't sound too bad for an unlimited pass. Long Island is full of rich suburban kids anyways. Its like a drop in a bucket for them! Though now that I think about it, I guess it is a little pricey.

Jennie was named after Jeannie from I Dream of Jeannie. Just they didn't spell it right. I asked her that ultimate Q and she says she goes by both. Mostly Jeannie by the fam, Jenny, by others.

25 bucks, considering there's 1 roller coaster... But I'm always a fan of the pirate, music express... What else is there??? But then the lines are short. Therefore you can ride things multiple times.

She was really named after I Dream of Jeannie? Ha! Though now that I think about it, who calls her Jennie? Her classmates and other people non-family related?

They had a haunted house ride, because the TWoP recapper was actually talking about that ride in his recap. And did they have bumper cars? And bumper boats? And the train? And those antique cars on the track? Or am I mixing it up with some other amusement park? They have a lot of those carnival games, and the arcade had skeeball.

I seriously cannot believe them wathching IDOJ... Even more shocking was watching them eat at McDonalds. They seem to posh for those kind of things... Anyway, I think only the fam calls her Jenny.

Ooh yeah... There is other good stuff. The you don't have to pay unless you go on rides. So you can go to the arcade for free. Ooh... wants to go...

Wait, they named her after IDOJ, but they call her Jenny?! But Ida know, I seem to remember eating with them at a highway rest stop on our way to Atlantic City, that's slumming it.

Owel, if I was ever in NYC for an extended amount of time and not having to work, I'd go. Then again, Six Flags Georgia is like less than half an hour away and I haven't been there in almost a decade!

Woops... I mean, Jenny meaning Jennie... (Jeannie...) But then again it's not like they have fancy smancy restaurants on the highway. Usually when we eat out with them it's chinese food. Maybe it had more to do with having to eat rice.

You've been in GA for a decade already!?! Whoa... I guess your Mom whipping your pants against your bed isn't working.

Yep, it'll be 10 years in a month. And what's this about my mom whipping my pants against my bed?!

It's some flip thing. It's supposed to make you move back home.

Ah, I figured it was some weird flip thing. BTW, are you not in the path of this hurricane?

Not sure on the hurricane... Either hear we won't get hit or will and it's a cat 4. Makes no difference to me. Hurricane smurricane.

Yup. Totally passed us. Not even a drop of rain. Tita Nette was worried about Orlando though. That disney would be damaged or something. Hear it's really bad in that area though.
