Got a much needed haircut yesterday. Tracy said she wanted to try out something new, since she thinks she usually leaves my hair a little uneven. So after clipping it to my preferred length of shortness, she went over it with the electric and the big guard to get everything nice and even. I think she did a good job, and it was free! I prolly shoulda given her a bigger tip than usual since it was free. After all, I'm still coming out ahead.
Saw Thirteen the other night. You know, that Even Rachel Wood movie where she plays a wild teen. Its an interesting movie, I think EVR really sells it. (And no, I'm not saying that just because she's being all slutty and making out with her best friend and stuff) And what's with Holly Hunter playing these mothers trying to be the cool mom and ending up screwing up her kids? First Laurel Canyon, now this. And does Jeremy Sisto always play characters who are drug users/ex-drug users? Though I never really watched Six Feet Under that regularly. Back when he was on Six Feet Under, I remember his character was crazy, but I guess that doesn't neccesarily mean he was a druggie.
Speaking of Six Feet Under, I was reading the recaps on TWoP, since I've actually been catching the show recently since I heard Michelle Trachtenberg was on it playing a Britney type character for a few of the eps. And I noticed they had a sapphic Mena Suvari on there as well. What happened to her, has she done anything since American Pie/American Beauty? And didn't she marry some guy like twice her age? But I digress, back to the recap, I was shocked to see the recapper mention Adventureland. Ha, I don't think anyone outside of Long Island would have ever heard of that place. I remember when
7500centfish and
isabel79 and I were kids, we used to go there in the summers. (Do y'all know if its still around?) Of course, now that I think about it now, it was such a small amusement park. They only had the one roller coaster. Though I do remember spending a lot of time in the arcade. But I'm not knocking the place, it was entertaining enough, and it was somewhere to go besides the mall that wasn't too far away from their house.

OK, I'm rambling now...

Anyhoo, $25 doesn't sound too bad for an unlimited pass. Long Island is full of rich suburban kids anyways. Its like a drop in a bucket for them! Though now that I think about it, I guess it is a little pricey.

25 bucks, considering there's 1 roller coaster... But I'm always a fan of the pirate, music express... What else is there??? But then the lines are short. Therefore you can ride things multiple times.

They had a haunted house ride, because the TWoP recapper was actually talking about that ride in his recap. And did they have bumper cars? And bumper boats? And the train? And those antique cars on the track? Or am I mixing it up with some other amusement park? They have a lot of those carnival games, and the arcade had skeeball.

Ooh yeah... There is other good stuff. The you don't have to pay unless you go on rides. So you can go to the arcade for free. Ooh... wants to go...

Owel, if I was ever in NYC for an extended amount of time and not having to work, I'd go. Then again, Six Flags Georgia is like less than half an hour away and I haven't been there in almost a decade!

You've been in GA for a decade already!?! Whoa... I guess your Mom whipping your pants against your bed isn't working.
